For the price, I decided to take a chance since I didn’t need something fancy or something with super high quality audio for the shower.Issue:1) My fault but I didn’t realize this speaker used a proprietary charger. I would not have purchased it had I paid attention to that. I assumed that almost everything nowadays is micro-usb but this one is not.2) Sound quality and power is okay BUT there’s an annoyingly noticeable buzz that’s in the background that’s very distracting. You can hear this sound clearly when you turn it on and haven’t played anything yet.3) Not truly waterproof. As others have mentioned, because of how cheaply made it is (understandable at this price), the rubber cover that covers the charging port fits in there very loosely. Due to that reason, water gets into the charging port. Also, the charging port is on the top where it would be exposed to the most water. Why oh why would you put that port, with a loose and unsealed cover, on the top?! Even with a loose cover, if it was on the bottom it wouldn’t have been a problem. Just a very poor design choice and an oversight by the manufacturer.4) As others have also mentioned, there is an audible sound to confirm that’s it’s on when you first turn it on. This sound is at FULL volume regardless of what the volume was when you turned it off. For me it’s just a bit annoying but I can see this being an issue for people who shower when your significant other is sleeping because it’s so loud that it will wake them up.Conclusion:Those are all pretty big issues but even with those issues I still use it. I’ve just put it somewhere totally away from any water getting on to it (opposite the wall that the shower head is on). For the price, the build quality is good, actually. Sound quality is fine if you aren’t someone who’s distracted by a constant buzzing in the background.This speaker could’ve been much better had they taken a bit more time in fixing the obvious issues with it BEFORE they mass produced it and started selling it to the public. All that said, in its current state, I do NOT recommend this product. If you’re reading this you’re hoping this turns out to be better than its low price but unfortunately it’s not. It’s exactly what you’d expect from a cheap, $12 waterproof Bluetooth speaker.

My son purchased this with his own birthday money because he loves audiobooks so much, he listens to them in the shower. He used it regularly for a while and then it stopped working. I think he got a few short weeks of use and then dead. It won't charge. It won't play.Sadly, it seemed like it was ok until it stopped functioning. The sounds wasn't great but it's a cheap speaker. What do you expect? But, I think it's the shower exposure that did it which sucks because it's a SHOWER SPEAKER. Also title is ambiguous. It says "waterproof" and then says "water-resistant". Which is it?

I previously owned a bluetooth shower speaker from another company that lasted me for years without an issue, but I finally had to replace it. I couldn't find it initially on Amazon so I went with this one. My god, is it terrible in comparison. The battery has maybe 2.5hrs total at best. I was having to charge it more than once a week. The suction cup is horrible as well. It was frequently sliding on the tile wall and/or falling off the wall for no discernable reason. Additionally, it started having trouble charging after about three months. I had to fiddle with the connector to the speaker to get it JUST right to charge. And the volume also fell off to where I had trouble hearing the podcasts I was playing over it. The range is bad as well. I had to frequently have my phone in the bathroom with me for it to pick up whereas with the previous speaker, I could have it in a whole other room and still connect. I do NOT recommend this one.

My 13 year old had to have a speaker to play her country music in the bathroom while she showers, dries her hair, straightens her hair, puts a glob of mascara on and practices her selfie face in the mirror. All of which makes this gen x mom cringe but we smile and let them express themselves. She's happy with the speaker. She loves it. Her only complaint is that the suction cup doesn't want to stick to our tile. It sticks to the tub and wall well.

Such an awesome shower radio . Sounds great in the shower . It’s Bluetooth compatible and you can have full on phone conversations while in the shower 🚿. I mean if your into that and have an important phone call you can’t miss.It’s made of a silicon type of material, so water drops off abd suctions very well to the shower walls. No complaints .What’s even better is the price point for this amazing little device.Highly suggest it 👌🏽

The sound quality for this little speaker is actually really good! No complaints and connects to bluetooth on any device really well. The suction is great and the battery has lasted for a while, granted I haven't used it a ton, but I haven't had to charge it for 2 weeks. Would recommend to anyone looking for a simple shower speaker.

I love this little speaker!! It’s fallen into the tub/shower and still works just fine! It comes fully charged, and I’ve used it a ton of times and not had to charge it yet!! The suction cup is kinda finicky m, so it doesn’t always stick. But otherwise, perfect!UPDATE: Had it for about a month before it stopped charging completely. With the included charger and another I had on hand. So now it's useless, won't charge, too dead to turn on. Too bad, because I really loved it while it lasted.

Sound quality is fine for what I use it for. Mainly gave it 3 stars because it doesnt stay stuck to the wall and keeps falling and cracking. I highly recommend NOT buying this if you're looking for a shower speaker that will stick to your shower walls.Works fine if you have someplace in your bathroom/shower you can place it on thats away from the water.
