Nice, heavy robe
Nice, comfortable, warm robe. The color of the light blue is not quite as pretty as I would have liked and it runs large. But the pockets are nice and overall my daughter seems to like it.

It's Big But You'll Like It That Way
Lots of reviews saying it runs big. It does, but here's why you'll appreciate it.Sizing: Here's some perspective. I'm 5'7" and 137lbs. That's a size 8 in jeans and Large in shirts -- even XL in shirts just for sleeve length. I bought this robe in L/LG, knowing the reviews said it runs large, but I don't mind a roomy robe. A loose fitting robe means you never have to pull at it, to stretch away from you. It's got breathing room. It means you can curl up on the couch and be totally covered. You can even tuck your knees into a ball and wrap it around you with plenty of robe left over, so absolutely no air creeps in at all. Admit it, that's why you want a long robe anyway, right? You're looking for total coverage. Length-wise, it falls right at my ankle bones. Width-wise, well, it's absurd. This is where the "too large" comments come into play. Look, I don't want a robe that fits me like a tailored dress shirt. I want a robe that fits me like a college sweatshirt. This robe is your boyfriend's college sweatshirt. It's too big for you, but that's what you love about it. If I lift my arms up at my sides, there's a lot of robe there. Do I look like a flying squirrel? Yes. But unless you walk around the house with your arms sticking out, no one is ever going to notice. To an onlooker, it looks like a big, comfy robe -- a bit oversized but robes are meant to be. Besides, you want all that leeway in the middle. That's what makes it comfortable and so versatile when trying to get cozy. It's what allows you to wear all kinds of bulky pajamas underneath it. If you want to put it on naked, fresh out of the shower, the looseness will let you easily work into it, even wet. You can even put it on over your regular clothes. In other words, roominess = breathability/versatility.Washing and Drying: When I first washed it, I flat out tortured the thing. Knowing it runs big, I didn't give a second thought to washing it in hot water and drying it on high heat. I figured, if it shrunk, it would still fit. Besides, the hot water/high heat will surely take care of lingering dye, extra fluff, etc. Well, let me tell you, this robe survived the torture! This is actually a good sign. It means, I don't have to worry about washing this…ever. You know that one shirt you own that has to be air dried flat, but you accidentally forgot about that, and dried it in the dryer, and now life sucks? You won't have to worry about that happening to your robe. It took the hot water/high heat and laughed -- maybe even enjoyed it. I bought the rich navy blue robe -- totally kept its color, which is awesome. Didn't shrink, didn't pill. It's basically indestructible. It's the Hulk of robes. Probably should've bought the Hulk Green.Material: The description says fleece, and you know what that's like. You've rubbed a hundred fleece blankets while walking through Walmart…last year alone. It's that material you HAVE to touch when you see it. Resistance is futile. It's like a fluffier, thicker velour. My '80s friends know what I'm sayin'. It's not heavy like an Xray apron. Nor is it so light you feel unprotected. It's just right. It's the Goldilocks of materials. And like I said, it holds up in the wash.Sleeves: If you're like me, you look at the sleeves and wonder if they're long enough. The cuff you see on the sleeves is a faux cuff - it's not really a cuff at all. So no, it doesn't roll down to give you a longer sleeve. And no, you can't cut a few seams to make it roll down. It's an illusion of a cuff. However, that's not going to be a problem because the sleeves are long anyway. With my arms at my side, the sleeves fall to my knuckles. That means your wrists will stay covered. If you're the kind of person who likes to scrunch up your sleeves to your elbows, the sleeves won't stay. You can fold them up, of course.Collar: The collar doesn't really fold down, it stays up like a 1980's popped collar which is nice because it automatically shields your neck without you having to fuss with it. When zipped all the way to the top, the collar touches the bottom of the chin. When zipped this way, there isn't enough room to tuck your whole face into it, like if you wanted to hide your face while watching a scary movie on Netflix. You can't do that. It's just not wide enough to fit your whole face.Zipper issues. I've read about some people struggling with the zippers, but I'm okay so far. I know what they're talking about, though. There's two zippers. One zipper always stays at the bottom. The second zipper is the one you pull all the way up. The zipper that stays on the bottom can be zipped up, too. When you do that, it creates a slit in your robe, so you can walk. If you've ever worn a long skirt that didn't have a slit in it, you end up walking like a geisha, right? This won't happen. First of all, this robe already comes with a built-in slit in the front. This slit, combined with the roominess of the robe, totally gives you enough room to walk a normal stride -- even a long, exaggerated stride. So you will probably never use that bottom zipper to create a longer slit in the robe. But it's there, just in case you want it -- maybe to give your legs a bit more air if you're getting toasty, what have you. When putting on the robe, you have to feed the starting point of the zipper thru both zipper pulls, then pull the top zipper all the way up. You know the deal -- you've had double zippers on your winter coats. I think some people might be having problems feeding it through both zippers. It's not as easy as one zipper, sure. The material doesn't get in the way, in my opinion. It's more a matter of perfect alignment of the zippers in order to feed the starter through both zipper pulls at the same time. There's a little bit of wiggling involved, but it won't slow you down too much. The zippers, themselves, seems sturdy enough. Will they hold up thru daily wear? Looks like it.Pockets: In the picture, the girl has her arms bent with her hand in her pockets. For me, my arms are totally straight down into the pockets. I mean, it's a little weird because you're used to having your arms bent when you put them in pockets, like your jeans pockets or coat pockets. Your arms are never straight down into it. But it's neither here nor there. At least it has pockets and my hands fit into them. I can even spread my fingers out wide. The lining of the pockets is the same fluffy material as the outside.I know this review is long, but when you're spending $60 on one article of clothing, you want to be sure about it. Buy it. It's okay if it's roomy. In the end, you're going to find excuses for getting into your robe at 3PM, just so you can curl up on the couch, tuck yourself inside of it, and watch Netflix. Loved ones will be jealous as they fidget with blankets that aren't nearly as comfy. That's their problem. You've got the Flying Squirrel Hulk Goldilocks Robe of Awesomeness. Haters gonna hate.

Great robe
I really like this robe. Except for the zipper. The fit is perfect for me. The robe just touches the top of my feet. Since I am on the short side (5 feet nothing) I was prepared to do some hemming, but I love the length as is. I ordered a larger size because I didn't want anything tight - this is for lounging and staying warm. It is soft inside and out. BUT...it has two zipper pulls. One normal from bottom to top, and another at the bottom that opens the already zipped robe from the bottom. I guess to make the slit in front longer. However, when attempting to zip the robe up, I find it difficult to put the zipper together and get it started. I don't know whether it's a difficult zipper or the arthritis in my hands, but minus one star.

Best robe ever!
This is the best robe ever! It's so soft on the skin, warm, and comfortable. I am 5'4" and 127 and the sm/md fit perfectly. The sleeves do come down about midway on my hands and they fit without a lot of excess room. This keeps my arms nice and warm and doesn't allow cool air to flow up my arms. You can roll them up once or push them up past your elbows and they stay put, if you need them out of the way. The robe comes to the top of my feet, which helps keep my legs warm. It zips all the way to the top, which I love for keeping my neck warm. The common thread is that this robe is perfect for keeping me warm in my very cold house. The pockets are a nice size and located in the front so you don't lose anything from them like you can with side slit pockets. I happen to love the versatility of the double zipper, so I can unzip the bottom a bit to make getting up and down off the floor easier, when necessary. The zipper is also very sturdy, unlike many others and seems like it will hold up well. All in all, the robe appears to be very well made, it's warm and soft, and it comes highly recommended by me.

Perfect Winter Robe!
I love my new robe! It is so soft and comfortable and WARM! It’s almost like wearing a soft, warm blanket. I live in Colorado, so our winters can be quite cold, so it’s perfect for me. It is very well made and even washing it for the first time, there was very little lint. The double ended zipper is awesome for when you need to use the restroom and there are 2 big pockets to easily carry with you what you made need. I am 5’ 4” tall and weigh approximately 133 pounds, so I bought the small/medium and there is still plenty of room to be super comfy! You may need to watch the length on it if you are shorter though as it comes to my ankles. I highly recommend this robe for anyone looking to stay warm and toasty in the winter!

Cannot print return label!
The robe is lovely and soft, the style I want, and a pretty colour, but it is much too big even after ordering a size smaller than I usually wear. I am trying to return it before I order an other one in an even smaller size but the details on the return forms do not appear when the forms are printed making it impossible to return! This is incredibly frustrating and I am unable to solve this problem and cannot manage to connect to a human being in customer service.

Very happy with this house cost.
I am thrilled to finally find a zipped up housecoat. It is very warm and cozy. I like a housecoat to fit on the loose side rather than snugly.. I bought the 3-4X and normally wear 3X, this fits perfectly. I do fold the sleeves up when I’m doing any tasks.

Alterations Necessary!
The robe is very pretty - although more of an Icy Blue than a Grey - but way too big! I am 5'5" and normally a size 10. I read the reviews, and ordered a S/M. I machine washed and dried it to try to get some shrinkage, but I still needed to cut off 10 inches from the bottom, and take in each side in by 2 1/2 inches. Fits perfectly now, but took a fair bit of work to get it that way - Just Saying!

Very warm,fleece lined robe.
I purchased this and returned. It was fleece velour, not velvet velour. It was way to warm for what I wanted. I’ve had a velvet velour for many years and needed to replace it. Thought this would be it ,but the fleece lined was like a heavy blanket. A beautiful robe if you need the warmth. Colour was lighter then it looked in picture. It’s a very straight style,no extra fabric for flare.

cozy
I like a really long robe, with very long sleeves, and this fit the bill. I am 5'6" and usually size 12-14. The reviews said this runs large, so I bought a S/M and it fits perfectly. It is cozy without being too heavy. Great robe.
