Very good quality, especially for the price. Looks great and is easy to install. Will not completely hide the hot spots but will dull them to about half way, which was enough in my case. I was slightly worried reading the reviews about some difficulty pushing the diffuser into the metal bar but had no issues whatsoever. I assume people are having hard time if they don't align the diffuser properly or they push in one side at a time instead of snapping in both edges simultaneously, from one end to the other. Fairly easy to cut with some basic tools but make sure to smooth the edges as they get very sharp after cutting.

I purchased these LED aluminum channels for a lighting project, and overall I'm happy with the results. They were easy to install, the diffuser cover helps soften the light nicely, and the finished look is much cleaner and more professional than using exposed LED strips. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the overall quality isn't quite what I expected. The aluminum feels a little thin, and some of the components don't feel as premium as higher-end channels I've used in the past. That said, once installed, they perform exactly as intended and look great. For the price, they offer good value and do a nice job of protecting and diffusing LED strips. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option that works well, these are a solid choice. Overall, the quality could be better, but they absolutely get the job done and produce a clean finished appearance.

This is my first time using an LED strip channel. I mounted these to the wall surrounding the inside of my pantry door. The U-channel itself is really nice, and flawless. The channel cut easily as needed. No issues with mounting using the supplied clips, though I wish it would have come with more (only came with 2 clips per segment). Using the clips, it sits off the wall just slightly, and flexes when pressed (this is where a 3rd clip per segment might have been beneficial), but the clips hold the channel without slipping. The LED strips with adhesive backing stuck very well to the channels. (but I did prep the channels by wiping with alcohol to ensure clean application). My biggest issues are with the covers and the end-caps. The covers "snap" into the channel easily, but are loose fitting, and on the channels that are mounted vertically, the covers slide down (I may try bending the edges of the channel to help hold the covers). The individual LEDs are noticeable through the cover, but for my application, this is a non-issue, and I feel like it still does a good job of diffusing the light. The end-caps are a non-flexible stiff plastic. They do not slide into the channels very easily. The use of the end-caps might solve my issues with the covers sliding, but my patience ran out trying to install them.

Used along with LED COB lighting strips to add under cabinet lighting in our kitchen. Needed to do for a long time and finally had the time and courage to tackle it. We were nervous at first with doing our own DIY setup instead but it seems that the options have come A LONG way in the past decade. Hubby watched a Youtube video of someone doing similar project and it seemed easy enough. Definitely more complicated than getting the pre-made kits, which I'm sure work great but were more expensive and less customizable.... Anyway, back to these tracks, hubby said he was surprised with how easy they cut - he even was able to use compound miter saw with normal blade he uses for woodworking. He attached the dampener to it prior to cutting to avoid having to cut the plastic dampener and the metal track separately. Used painters tape and cut slowly and it worked great - no issues with that. He also used the provided clips to attach the tracks to the cabinets. BE CAREFUL or you could go through the underside. He pre-drilled to just the right depth and had no issues with the install - no screws stripped or tore through the cabinet. You could (as others have recommended) use some double sided adhesive tape but he liked the idea of being able to remove easily in case the lights need repairing down the road - soldering upside down is NOOO FUN =) His only 'complaint' was that the little end caps that come with the system wouldn't work with our setup. Half of the caps come with a small (maybe 1/8 inch) hole to feed wires through and the other half are closed off. He had to drill larger holes due to using 18 gauge wires for a longer run and didn't want the possibility of voltage drop. We only needed 1 end piece after connecting all 6 of our lighting bays together. Definitely an 'our situation' problem and nothing against the product. They'd be great as-is if you're doing 6 separate bays and not connecting them.

This is very easy to put together, I was using it for a very bright LED strip (24 W/meter, 24V DC), so was a bit concerned about the heat dissipation. At the maximum brightness, with the plastic cover on, the channel warms up to about 120F, which should be OK for the circuitry and the LEDs. The loos of light in the plastic diffuser is very minimal, I did not notice any color shift either. Also, I was able to accurately cut the aluminum and the plastic at the desired length, with some refinement with a small file. Some reviewers mentioned that it's very hard to slide in the cover into the channel. The way you do it is put the plastic ON TOP of the aluminum channel, align both ends, and then push it DOWN starting from one side and then going along to the other. The plastic is very flexible and it's not gonna break!

Ces canaux LED en aluminium se sont avérés faciles à installer, avec un système de fixation simple qui ne demande pas d'outils compliqués. Combinés avec mes bandes LED WiZ de 5m, le résultat final est vraiment esthétique, le boîtier diffuse bien la lumière tout en cachant proprement la bande elle-même pour un look plus soigné et professionnel. Le couvercle s'insère bien dans le canal en U, sans jeu excessif, et donne une belle finition uniforme à l'éclairage une fois allumé. L'aluminium semble robuste et de bonne qualité, avec un lot de 6 mètres qui couvre amplement un projet d'éclairage de bonne taille. Une belle combinaison qui élève vraiment l'apparence d'une installation LED comparé à une bande nue collée directement sur une surface. Facile à installer et le rendu visuel en vaut vraiment la peine!

Does nothing to hide LED dots. Absolutely do not buy this product.

This is the worst defuser, you can clearly see the led dots. I don’t recommend
