Vet Classics Liver Support Pet Health Supplement for Dogs & Cats - 60 Ct

I was on the hunt for a new liver supplement for my dog after he has been getting diagnosed with high liver enzymes. We tried Denamarin and another product, both he hated and it was struggle to get him to take them. He gobbles these up with his normal food everyday. We will definitely be purchasing again.

My boy has some liver issues in addition to severe arthritis in his hips. Some meds for his hips aggravate the liver issues. One of the many supplements and meds I give him is SamE, but previously I was giving him a brand that came as non-chewable pills, and let me tell you, my boy does NOT enjoy pills. Once I found these, it was like a breath of fresh air. He sniffs them out and WANTS to eat these. More importantly, although his liver enzymes have not come down, they are also not getting worse, and these supplements helped with that.

Cat wouldn't touch them. I tried putting it in food, but refused to eat it. I am dissapointed because the cat was who it was for. Dogs loved them.

My 16 year old poodle had poor liver counts and the vet put her on a liquid milk thistle. I started using this product because it wasn't as messy and I crumble it and give it to her as a treat. The vet gave his approval. Her liver count is back to normal with this liver support product. People comment that the cubes dry out. It's true, but doesn't stop my picky dog from eating it when I crumble it into her dish. If has healed her liver so I am estactic with the results of using the product!

The ingredients in this product are exactly what I want for my 11 year old Miniature Schnauzer. The only downside is that you must break the product in half for a small dog and the liver scent will linger on your fingers. The other downside -- in my case -- is my dog doesn't like the flavor and it's hard to get her to eat them.

Hope they work as intended, but 1 pup has Gordon Ramsay taste buds and don't like, the other but loves them.

***Updated Review: The most recent order of Pet Classics Liver Support 'Soft' Chews arrived hard and discolored. It looked like the treats had gone bad and my pets would not eat them. The package arrived fully sealed and in good condition and the expiration date is marked 1/2020. I believe the treats went bad because of the packaging--which is basically a cardboard cup with a plastic top--and the cardboard allows air to pass through spoil the treats. The reason I am changing my review to 1-star is because I called Vet Classics Support Customer Service to let them know about the problems and they said that the Liver Support Soft Chews are not supposed to be sold on Amazon, and so the company would not offer any customer support for any purchases made from Amazon. I explained that the problem seems to be with the manufacturing and way the packing is not sealed from air, but the Customer Service Manager 'Cathy' was completely dismissive of the issue. She said that this was the first time she has heard of problems with dried out treats--she seems out of touch because there are many Amazon reviews from customers having problems with dried out treats. Bottom line, I can't support a company that doesn't stand by their product. One star and I do not plan to purchase again in the future. My dog doesn't like the taste but these do help detoxify animals. Both my dog and cat had health problems, and since starting on the Liver Support pills, both are noticeably healthier and happier. I don't think the cat likes the taste either, but to make it more appealing, I crush some freeze dried dog/cat treats and then mold the treat to the soft chew before giving it to the cat. And then I follow up every Liver Support with an actual treat. I tend to give the Liver Support every day for 2 weeks, and then take 2 weeks off, and repeat. I have bought this product before and will again.
