They work!
I have 2 black semi-feral cats & these actually have successfully decreased their ability to catch the birds! Plus having these collars on them with the light reflecting strip really helps to see the cats inside and out. Thank you for a great product that works!

100% Recommended! Works Amazingly well!!
This is one of the best things I've purchased in awhile. I was honestly skeptical about weather or not this would help, but I was desperate to find a solution to all the dead birds my cat was leaving for me.She's had this for a couple of months & so far, I've only found one poor bird in my yard, which is a vast improvement. Before the collar, there would have been 3-6 a week. I'm shocked and impressed that it works so well and extremely grateful. The collar is a little tricky to put on at first but I figured it out. The Cat doesn't seem to mind wearing it and it actually looks cute, though a bit silly. It does get dirty after awhile, but it's easy to hand wash.I'm so happy I tried this and can't recommend it highly enough. This has saved countless bird's lives and allows me peace of mind. Eternally grateful!

Didn't work / good seller and product
I accidentally ordered two. The seller quickly answered my request to refund one and only ship one.As far as the product itself, it's a good quality. A little pricey in my opinion for what it is and should probably include a break away collar as an option. Everyone thinks my cat belongs in a circus now, but it's grown on us in only a few days. It doesn't bother her and can go about all her normal activities and doesn't get in the way. It may work, to keep her from getting birds, but not 100%. The 2nd day she brought one home... She was an outdoor rescue, which means she's a very proficient hunter and has access to outdoors because of our dogs. Other than making her overweight, I'm not sure how else to keep her from getting birds.

For people who love their cats and love their songbirds, too.
I love these items so much that once my cat had worn out two of the three, I re-ordered. I’ve been using these for several years now, and since their use, my cat has not gifted me with another songbird. Plus, there’s the added benefit of being able to spot my cat at night with a low level flashlight.

Yet another Crap amazon product! Check out my cat w a BIRD IN HIS MOUTH & the bird safe collar ON!
I am beginning to really hate Amazon. There is NO QUALITY CONTROL. and it appears any yahoo can schelp their garbage here.Case in point this STuPID "birdBeSafe" collar. Not only does my cat look like a clown but a MURDEROUS BIRD KILLING CLOWN.For any cat with an average or above IQ this is nothing to them, if your cat is maybe special and really old and can barely move perhaps you could consider it.BUT NOT FOR NORMAL CATS- IT DOESNT WORK- and frankly read some of the 5 star reviews- they even say their cats still killed with it ON!!Not to mention all this is, is a cheap piece of fabric sewn into sort of a tube that you put the actual cat collar inside. LOLOL. MY CAT COULD HAVE SEWN A BETTER PRODUCT.WHAT A RIP OFF AND ANOTHER DEAD BIRD- BLOOD IS ON YOUR HANDS- BIRDBESAFE COMPANY!

Ok
Pretty good quality of product. I put it on my cat and she was not bothered. She went about her day like normal. After a day of having it on she came back with a bird. So clearly it seems the birds do not see much change with the collar cover. Also, this product was oddly expensive. It was like seven dollars by itself, not to mention it required extra four dollars for shipping. I have amazon prime so all my shipping is free. This is the first thing that I have had to pay shipping for. Overall it was like eleven or twelve dollars for this little strip of fabric. I definitely should have made this myself. I know how to make this and it would cost like 50 cents.

So far, so good
My husband and I were looking for a way to stop our cat from killing birds and dragging them into our condo. She is a black cat and a great birder. We were opposed to a bell because at night, she runs around the place and would wake us both up (we're light sleepers). We looked online and found this collar, so we thought that we might give it a try. She has always worn a collar, so we didn't think it would be too uncomfortable for her. After putting it on her, she did not wince at all, it was as if she did not know her collar was any different than usual. Actually, it more took getting used to for us, as every time she walked into the room, we would burst out laughing. The collar definitely makes the cat look like a court jester. Anyway, after about a week we were both pretty accustomed to seeing her wear it and now we are very happy to see that she has not killed one bird since wearing the collar. I washed it in the washing machine last weekend, so it will probably have to be washed about once every 2-3 weeks depending on how active your cat is outside. My only advice is to give the collar a chance. Your cat will NOT look the same, she will look hilarious and it will be hard to get used to. However, it does seem to work and it doesn't bother the cat at all.**Update on 03/01/2020 - No birds killed since she has had the collar on! I just ordered a new one as this one has seen its day. I wash it in the washing machine about every 2-3 weeks. Worth every penny.

No more dead birdies!!!
After living in a coastal beach community for 30 years where coyotes are abundant and my cats were never allowed outdoors, I moved to the mountains of Oregon where believe it or not, it was safer for them to be outdoor kitties. I was thrilled to watch them explore in the outdoors. Until... A neighbor who has a beautifully landscaped yard with at least 8 bird feeders informed me that my sweet little Kitty was a SBK ( serial bird killer ) I was appalled!!! Not my sweet kitty!!! Loving birds as well, I immediately searched for the best safe bird collar for cats.. This collar is amazing! My kitty, who has never worn a collar in 8 years of his life adapted to it immediately. I attached a few bells to the collar as well. It’s on him 24/7. Needless to say, he’s still loving life outdoors and no more dead birdies. My neighbor is happy and I’m thrilled that my sweet SBK can continue to be an outdoor kitty.
