i am SO happy with these candied peels. they are miles better than the ones found in the grocery baking aisles---so much fresher and vibrant tasting. they have a softer texture as well, much nicer in any use. i put some into fruited cakes and some into an ice cream, a la cassata siciliana flavour profile. delicious, and i hope they never stop stocking them here.

These candied fruits came dated when packed in their plastic containers. They were packed with a gel cold pack inside an insulated padded bag. This confused me as to whether they need to be refrigerated. The cherries taste like candied maraschino cherries which I love. The candied orange strips were equally delicious. The citron is a very tiny dice. The citron tastes like any other citron I have bought. It is not overly sweet. I did not detect any plastic taste but since I am not quite ready to bake, I transferred the candied fruit to glass jars and put them in the fridge. Label says glucose, fructose syrup, sugar and citric acid.

I used this for stollen and it is perfect. Tastes good, is fresh and has eye appeal. Perfect for fruited breads, cookies and cakes.

I got glace' cherries, candied orange peel and candied citron. All were very good quality. The fruits were packed better than I expected - they used a cold-pack bubble wrap envelope and cold gelpack inside a cardboard shipping box.I was unsure about buying the orange peel because of negative reviews. Now I'm convinced people bought it thinking it was those gumdrop fruit slice candies. It's not. It's actual orange peel, which is cooked in sugar syrup and then coated in sugar and dried. It's going to be a little bitter, just like real orange peel. It's also going to be a little sticky. Perfect for fruitcake or dipping in dark chocolate.

Better flavor than what’s available in standard grocery store. Also, well packed and arrived unscathed.

These are so good. Fresh and taste like they should. Worth every penny. I will never buy grocery store cherries again.

I have previously ordered candied fruit from a different company. I thought that I would try this one this year. Big mistake. The quality and flavor were not what I was expecting. I love Italian candied fruit. This product just does not deliver the same high quality and flavor that I am used to.
