Bought this to accompany some chips and snag a discount. While this queso appears to be on the healthier side as opposed to your more common jar/canned queso, it absolutely lacks any kind of spice, flavor, or purpose.You're better off using vanilla pudding. At least that has flavor. Maybe even add a drop or two of hot sauce.It's pretty expensive for flavorless pudding as well.

Delicious and healthy

I'm glad that this is Organic but the taste was less than satisfactory.

The lid on one is dented and the seal is broken.The cheese is separated oddly.

I just order two more jars! I love this with potato chips, pretzels, triscuit crackers, and saltines. I even put a dap on some scrambled eggs to give them some zing!

Sometimes when cheese stinks it means it might be good. That is not the case with this jar of queso. As soon as I opened it, I was mauled with such an intense and pungent scent. My husband was coming through the kitchen and asked me if I farted. I don’t know how but I guess I accidentally ordered this twice. May be the first time it knocked me out and I forgot. Don’t waste your money and it’s not even hot so if you do like the pungence, you’ll still have to add peppers.

It has a little heat similar to Tostitos' Salsa con queso mild. It has a cheese flavor but not as strong as artificial. For a healthier version, I was actually surprised based on all the reviews. I don't know if people are using scented dish soap and laundry detergent that have killed their noses and taste buds, but even my wife said it tested pretty close and was surprised.
