HERBIVORE Bakuchiol Dual-Retinol Alternative Anti-Aging Serum, 1 oz

I really like using this serum. I decided to try it since it isn't retinol, but a retinol alternative. The price is comparative... different for everyone, but I do think it's a bit pricey. The value for the money will be determine in time. I can't yet understand the effectiveness since I just recently started using it. I can say that I have not had any skin irritation. I like using it because it does not leave any oily residue on my skin. You only need a tiny amount, it glides on smoothly and quickly absorbs into your skin. After a minute, you can't tell that you even put it on your face except for how silky smooth your face feels. I don't detect any fragrance or smells when I use it. My face and neck feels fresh every time I apply it.

I like this product for my face. I usually use it at night after washing my face before I go to sleep. It has really helped with my skin tone and is easy to apply on my face. I prefer bakuchiol over retinol because it's less rough on my skin. I believe this serum is great value for my money.

does not dry my skin, feels great

I was a former tretinoin user for several years and it really did make my skin smooth and blemish-free, but I had to stop using it when I got pregnant with my third child. After he was born I wanted to get my smooth skin back so I decided to give this a try to see if it really was an alternative to retinol. I started using this about 2 weeks ago and in the last 4ish days I’ve noticed my skin is so smooth and soft, very similar to how it felt when I was using a retinoid, without the irritation. I have noticed a couple of very minor breakouts at the same time my skin became noticeably softer and smoother so maybe there is a slight purge period? Either way I’m going to continue using this. It’s amazing!

I’ve been using this for almost five years now. When I first started using it the results were amazing… my grown kids even would comment on how my skin looked so much better without makeup up. Definitely evens out tone and brown spots. I have sensitive skin and retinol makes my skin peel so I can’t use it. I have no issues with this product at all and it’s been 5 years…. I put it on every night after I wash my face even around my eyes. Feelslight (almost like water - it’s clear) and not greasy at all. Only thing I wish they would go back to the eye dropper they used to have, I don’t like the pump as much but it’s the same great product. Highly recommend!!

A drop or two will cover, lasts a long time. Moisturizing, lightweight, works on wrinkles.

I’ve struggled with acne on and off for YEARS, and when I say this product stopped it in its tracks, I’m not kidding!! Retinol wrecked my skin (I went from 5-6 lesions a day to about 20– don’t care about the purge, that’s a hell no for me), so I’ve been using Differin for the past 5 years until it just kind of stopped working three months ago. Finally I found this product because I’m hoping to get pregnant soon, and it stopped my acne in its tracks! It’s only been about 5 days, but my cysts have shrunken dramatically, my texture is silky smooth, and no new zits are showing up. This is IT if you want something natural and gentle! Wish it was cheaper, though.
