Cutting Edge Performance 🛠️
The Festool 496304 Universal 28-Tooth Saw Blade is engineered for precision and efficiency, featuring a 25mm kerf and 20mm arbor. Its design minimizes vibration and waste, making it perfect for clean cuts in wood and soft plastics.

I had to cut thick 1 1/2” X 24” teak panels from Indonesia. This blade’s teeth configuration with my Festool circular saw was perfectly suited for the task. No burning, and a no-sanding finish cut.

Worth it
I’ve been using Freud rip blades on slabs for years. Recently, both my saws developed a strange intermittent wobble that ruined cuts through thick hardwoods. I attributed it to worn saws, since we ask a lot of them and the blades are both new. Then, I realized that new blade’s corresponded with our Dewalt and Festool track saws both misbehaving. I pulled the trigger on this full kerf blade and the Festool saw is back to 100% and earning its keep. Freud must have changed their design or manufacturing and that’s too bad — they used to be great. Also of note: the geometry is such that it seems to my crew and I that this full kerf blade cuts more easily than the thinner kerf Freud.

Another quality Festool product.
Got this and the Rip Blade for my Festool track saw. Made the mistake of trying to do a rip cut on a hard wood door with a crosscut blade, and thought I killed the motor. Now I have the necessary blades to make the correct cuts.

Saw cuts like new
This is a really good blade. It makes great cuts. The 10" festool plunge saw is underpowered, so you really need to keep a sharp blade or the motor stalls in hardwoods such as oak and hickory.

Rips fine.
Works to rip, had some smoke though.

Nice blade but not best bang for the buck
I’ve purchased my Festool saws (2), router, 2 sanders, CT dust collector, mft table and various accessories about 10:years ago. The tools work great, no complaints. However with the annual prices increases, Festool consumables like sandpaper, vacuum bags and saw blades have become way overpriced. The aftermarket for Festool compatible accessories has grown substantially and offer quality close enough to Festool quality for 50% less. This blade is good, but I’m sticking with the other brand which cuts the same and I get 2 for the price of 1.

Wow
Hardly write reviews here. I attempted to cut 3/4" red oak with the stock 48t blade I use on all my sheetgoods. Wow did it suck. Burned the wood and batteries and was hard as heck to cut!Enter in this 28t sawblade!! Holly smokes, cut through 3/4" like butter! NO burning, splinter free, glue ready smooth edges!! Was debating between this and the other 12 tooth saw blade, glad I went with this one!
