The movie review
Three couples and their lives which ultimately collide form the story in this familiar story. The first story is about Nana Patekar, a recluse and Dimple Kapadia, a loud mouthed restaurant owner facing eviction from her business. The second couple is Sunil Shetty, a corporate guy who is leading a takeover on Dimple's restaurant and his wife, Vidya Malavade, who is close to Dimple. This couple is having marital problems due to his work. The third pair is a young couple who meet in Dimple's restaurant, the boy is a paying guest at Nana's house. The intersection of their lives forms the movie and although this is sometimes interesting, it is not in this movie. Nana and Dimple share no chemistry like they had in Prahaar and Krantiveer .I thought that the loud mouthed act did not suit Dimple at all and seemed cartoonish. Vidya Malavade showed promise in Chak De but here she is wooden. The young couple is love are almost unmentionable. This is a miss, it tries to succeed but fails. 2/5/11
