Works as advertised! I am able to pick up small objects and itโs great with assistance getting dressed after knee replacement surgery Iโm 6โ3โ so the length is fine for me however I would suggest a shorter length for someone under 5โ 9โ. It is not intended to pickup heavier or bulky objects and I can certainly see this being something challenging with a one-handed operation. Grabbing small jars and cans from lower or high shelves is easily accomplished and the flexible joints work well. Great value for the money

Outstanding customer service
I received this heavy duty grabber five days ago, and was very impressed. It was sturdy, long enough that I never had to bend over (Iโm a week out of spinal surgery), and I loved that it was collapsible. Unfortunately, after four days, it broke. Upon contacting the company, they replied immediately, offering to refund or replace the item, so Iโm quite pleased. (Since I loved the design, I chose to replace it, figuring it was just a fluke.) They were also very kind, despite my snarky email. For outstanding customer service and compassion (a rarity nowadays), Iโm giving them 5 stars. This company is a pleasure to deal with.

Fave brand but...
My favourite brand for grabber tools - easiest and comfiest trigger/handle for me, someone who has sensory and pain and weak muscle difficulties. The grabber I had before this had a nice flashlight feature but the big several-ridge/bump "ergonomic" style trigger/handle hurts my hand no matter how I tried to hold it (and is a common style) AND was so much harder to squeeze which also made it hurt worse and caused worse hand fatigue much faster. HUGE improvement with this style and brand. I bought this when I was living in an RV, and unfortunately both this and the other one broke where they fold during that time. One would have been fine if I didn't leave it unfolded in that very shakey and cramped situation I think, and the other, I think the EZPIK, broke pretty quickly when my dad tried to get and something far under my bed. It was incredibly disappointing, but I actually think it was a fluke. They have either improved their design and/or haven't had any issues yet with my new ones cause I'm no longer in an RV. (And will use old one for under bed just in case. ๐) Even with the break, we just taped it up and kept using it luckily and being home bound and in a house not on wheels now, I can more easily just leave them unfolded, which I prefer. I worry a little about potential snaps if they fall in general or from earthquakes but once they're all on hooks that'll be less of a worry. For the one I do leave folded sometimes since it's cramped space, hung by my toilet, I like that the grabber isn't touching the handle when folded up cause I'm germaphobic and use it to pick up trash from floor and push down trash in the cans to make space. It just has to be facing vertically. I never knew how to rotate the claw but kinda sorta figured it out recently -- hold the trigger down then you can move it? Didn't remember that I'd gotten 40 inch one before, have lost that first one. But I want to get another. It may also be more fragile when they are extra long, but the 36" ones have two folds and been working well with no issue. I'm 5'6" (and my parents are shorter and taller than me and all have back pain amongst other things that make it hard to bend) and 36" works pretty well for all of us -- works well for me both sitting and standing, reaching up to high shelves and down to floor (and across the room somewhat but 40+ inch could be more useful for that for even farther range.) I can pick up small bits of debris/trash instead of sweeping or vacuuming or squatting) bending/touching floor which is fantastic. I struggled to pick up a thin cardboard thing but was and to do it when i held down one end with my foot! I can pick up a lot of products in the bathroom and kitchen. I struggle to pick up heavy things with it -- a comfy material over some of the pole would be a nice improvement for when I need to add more support and shift weight with my other hand to get heavier stuff -- and also a lock feature would be incredibly helpful for that and in general. I've only seen lock feature on one brand in here and it can scrape your hand so it looks bad and hope more brands add this feature in the future. And would love if they sold different colours and ones with more coloura instead of mostly silver and black!

Industrial quality at a consumer price.
"Kid tested and Mother approved" I live Van life, this means that I end up parked in places that have people I tend to ignore, doing things I'd rather not be around. Well, whenever, wherever I park, I clean up. Not just after myself, around everyone else as well. The concept is, we all clean our houses right? Well my house is outside (technically) and since I have so many dirty @$$ roommates that don't help, I end up picking up A LOT OF TRASH. I've been through a few different brands but I always end up come right back to EZPik. The reasons I choose EZPik: โข Precision: These can pick up a shaved toothpick without struggle. Other brands claim to have precision grip, it they are politician-level liars. โข Grip size: I took photos to show, these are WIDE, like my ex-wife. โข Versatile: Able to grab a single toothpick from rough concrete, or a full spray bottle from a high shelf on the first attempt (the other brand in the photos? The nicest way to put it is: they are so bad they gave me cancer in my b@ยกยก$) I am not paid or endorsed in any way to make this review, which means I gain nothing for doing it. Which is also why you can trust me when I say, just buy EZPik, they are better.

#1 Great Tool but NOT for power gripping (PLEASE READ)
I got mine June 7th 2022 and the handle broke some yesterday September 19th 2022. Before I start, I was very rough with this 40 inch grabber. It's a great grabbing tool with a good reach. The tool is 39 3/4 inches long from closed tip to tip of hanging hole. (Where EZPIK Logo is) It has a 3 7/8 inch maximum inner opening, and can lift a maximum of 4 pounds. I was able to pick up my 4.2 lb boots off floor and carry them but couldn't hardly lift up too high. Maybe 2 to 3 feet off ground. The wire hasn't broken or shown any signs yet and I man handled it a lot. The 40 inch is too long for my mom to use in her 70s. She can't use no longer than a 36, in case you are looking for elderly people, it works great for them. But works great outdoors and also can bring the item to you after grabbing it, in a 90 degree angle, as it folds to you. So once an item is grabbed when the tool is straight, don't let go when it folds back to you or you won't be able to grasp the object once folded in past 90 degrees. It might drop the object if you let go off handle and re squeezing. Probably not intended to be use like that, could be why my handle broke. But still worth buying again because I used it for a lot of heavy lifting every day. Works great for grabbing things behind dryers, washers, dressers, fridge, and more. Basically I put it to the test except for, beating it up and leaving it outside in the rain or submerging under water. I might get back to you when I find that out after I try to buy another one. Right now he's still kicking and working ok. Claw Tip: Pull claw out and turn some, let go while turning, til it pops back down back in place, to turn claw in another angle. Claw can only go up and down or left and right.

Good grip
I have purchased three of these products. They are identical except for the length. I first bought a 40" grabber. This length is ideal for reaching under furniture, etc., and to avoid having to stoop over in case your back hurts. But it is too long to use effectively to pick up trash due to inability to place trash in bag in your opposite hand. I therefore recommend the 32" picker if that is what you have in mind. The pickers are sturdy. The claw end is very precise and grasps an item firmly. There are strong magnets on the sides which enables you to pick up stuff easily.. You have to firmly hold the handle end lever to pick up stuff, but it's not much of a problem, and it operates easily for any arthritic hand to use. You can operate it with three fingers. The picker folds in half via release of a clip at the midway point in the shaft. If there was going to be a failure in the product, it would be at that clip. Well, let me tell you what happened with my first 40" picker. I tried to forcefully drag a paper that was stuck under the wheel of a chair. When I did that, I torqued the shaft and broke it. The shaft broke at the clip. The whole thing cracked and crumbled. But the clip never broke. I have confidence in the strength of the clip. You can break the shaft, but not easily. I just over did it. The only thing to consider is the position of the pistol grip to the claw. Some pickers have the claw perpendicular to the pistol handle, but this one is up and down in line to the handle. I personally don't care, but you might have a preference. I rebought my 40" picker and added a 32" picker for yard trash. These pickers are strong, the claws are very precise and uniform, and the pistol grip is easy to operate. There are a couple of ways to hang up the picker, which are by a clip mounted on the shaft and also a molded in plastic loop for a nail, also sturdy. The seller was quick with all deliveries, and the product came as advertised. There are no instructions, but you don't need any.

EZPIK 32 inch collapsible reacher
These reachers are collapsible, within a clamp in the middle of them. I like it a lot. Other brands have a wire going through the middle of theirs & they are worthless, to keep. This reacher is limited, since it canโt pick up flat, heavy, flimsy or small items. The pincher area needs to be more pointy, for that to happen. Overall, itโll pick up your clothes & bigger items, but not heavy ones. This is not my favorite reacher. I wonโt buy it again.

Best on the Market
I've needed a grabbers for years and this is, by far, the best product I have found. It is sturdy, has a large circumference, grabs tightly and the folding mechanism is superior to the ones that pull apart. It is SO worth the price (which I hesitated over because its not cheap) but I am now and forever a lifelong consumer. Do yourself a favor and buy this!

Loved the first one, ordered a second
Hubby broke our pickup stick, which we badly need and I got straight onto Amazon and was shocked at the prices. Ground this one, it was cheaper than the rest, had good features and a range of sizes, and would arrive the next day. So ordered it: arrived in the morning, worked great, hubby lost where he put it 3 times, so ordered a second one for back up, which was to arrive the next day. We seem to have had a driver with a sight issue the second time around, as he left the parcel at the side gate of the house instead of the front door. Found it after the heavy rain storm, when we looked at the photo for delivery. But the item is great, well built, folds and sones in multi lengths- all the things you want, including overnight delivery.

Veratile, strong and well designed
I love this set of 2 litter pickers. They have clearly been designed carefully and can be used for lots of things. They can certainly be used for picking up litter - we ordered them for picking up the rubbish that sometimes blows or is thrown into our garden, but they can also be used to pick up small items that have fallen into awkward places that are hard to get to without moving furniture and to pick up items that are out of reach. These must be fantastic for people who find bending down difficult. Each picker is light but strong - we just tried lifting and bringing down quite a large bag of rice, with no problem at all. They are magnetic and so it is easy to pick up things like paper clips and batteries that have been dropped. The pickers can have a small flash light attached to see into dark corners or to use in the dark, and they fold easily into half size for easy storage. Very impressed with the quality and value
