Works great! Save lots of $$$ learning to fly
As a first time RC airplane pilot, I bough this to connect my Spektrum transmitter to my PC so I could practice flying with an RC airplane simulator. It works beautifully. I plugged it in to the USB port of my Windows 11 PC, and it recognized it immediately and set it up as a USB game controller. This really was my secrete weapon to a fantastic first RC airplane flying experience. After hours of using the simulator 1st, without any help and entirely by myself, I flew my plane with a 43 inch wingspan solo for my first time, and everything was great. No crashes, nice landings, and even stunts! I was amazed. I did not expect that kind of first time flying experience, especially since I was dumb enough not to get any help (which I DON'T recommend). Even if you're an experienced pilot that wants to learn something new, like 3D flying, this has a tremendous value. You can crash all day in the simulator and save yourself lots of time and money by NOT crashing the real. With the availability of cheap and/or free RC simulators, it seems like simulator training should be a standard part of learning RC flying. I highly recommend getting this. I've had zero issues with.

Easy Connection to Flight Simulator Software
This device works seamlessly to connect my Spektrum DX G2 RC radio to flight simulator software on my Win10 PC. So far, SeligSIM and RealFlight are working well. I'm able to "fly" and practice many of the RC planes I own or considering building or buying, on my computer as if I was standing at the RC airplane field.

Works great with Spektrum DX6i in RealFlight 8 Simulator on Windows 10
Works great with a Spektrum DX6i transmitter in Windows. There were no drivers necessary in Windows 10. Windows recognizes the WS1000 as "SPEKTRUM RECEIVER" under the "Devices and Printers" section of Control Panel. To bind with a DX6i transmitter, you hold down the button at the tip of the WS1000 and insert it into a USB port. Then, hold the transmitter's "Trainer" switch while powering on the transmitter. I had a little bit of trouble binding at first, but then I realized I was holding the Trainer switch for too long (like 10 seconds) after powering on. When I tried releasing the Trainer switch a second or two after powering on, the binding was successful. After binding, Windows recognized five of the six DX6i channels (Throttle, Rudder, Aileron, Elevator, and Gear/F-Mode). With some internet searching, I found that adjusting the "FLAPS" setting in the controller allows you to use the Flap/Gyro channel. As shown in the attached photos, set "NORM" TO +100 and "LAND" to -100. After that, Windows should recognize the Flap/Gyro switch when calibrating the controller. For my transmitter, under the Windows properties screen, Windows sees the Throttle/Rudder as X/Y Axis and Aileron/Elevator as Z Axis and X Rotation, with the Gear/F-Mode switch as Y Rotation. Oddly enough, the Flap/Gyro is connected to both the Z Rotation and Button #1. The Dial, Slider, and Buttons 2 & 3 are not used. I imagine they would be used for transmitters with more channels. In RealFlight 8, I had to make some adjustments to the controller settings even after selecting "Spektrum" as the controller type. But once set up, it works beautifully.

So much better than being tethered IMO
Works just fine with my Spektrum radios for Liftoff and Velocidrone - I dont own any other sims except for RF 7.5 which it does not work for. I was even able to bind and use a radio from a Blade (RTF MLP4DSM). I wanted to review this to leave some hopefully helpful information. I own RF 7.5 and could not get this to work regardless of what combination of Tx settings I used and/or combinations of the factory RF 7.5 USB cable/Tx. I've done a bit of reading and it seems that this dongle works with RF 8 however I cant confirm this as I do not own 8. I also own a Futaba 9C with a genuine Spektrum DM8 module. I could not get this to work at all with anything including Windows. Im able to bind my radio with the dongle but none of my channels move at all - they are all fully locked in some odd angle and dont respond. My 9C works with every BNF I own and every Spektrum receiver. I doubt many will worry about this particular issue but hopefully those of you that do have a Futaba and Spektrum module find this helpful. Bottom line - works as expected with Spektrum radios. Windows sees it as a controller. Any sim that uses a Windows controller, should work just fine.

Works Great.. Excellent Product!
This item is great.... It allows you to use your Transmitter with Flight Simulator. I use Windows only, so I am not sure if it will work with other Operating Systems such as Mac...

Weinig over te zeggen, na binden (wat snel en probleemloos verloopt) werkt dit gewoon perfect. Ik gebruik dit product met een DX6, DX6i en een NX6 op vluchtsim Heli-X10

This Wireless USB Simulator Dongle works awesome. I use it with both a Spektrum DX18 Gen2 Transmitter and a Spektrum DX8 Gen1 Transmitter, and with Real Flight (Horizon Hobby Edition) on a Win 7 (64 bit) computer. Its wonderful to be able to use the same Transmitters wirelessly at home that I use in the field. Not only that, but I can set the switches on my transmitters the same way as they are for my real RC planes. One odd quirk, I am not sure why, but I can bind my DX18 right beside the Simulator Dongle, but I have to move about 10 feet away to bind my DX8. The same thing happens with some of my receivers. Its not really a problem, but if one is wondering why the bind fails, just move a little farther away. This is really a great product, I love it.
