Neumann TLM 103 Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphone (Black) With Suspension Shockmount & Pop Filter

This microphone is amazing. It came as advertised, it was a bit tricky putting the pop screen on the mic and then putting it into the shock mount, but with some careful trial and error it fit like a charm. The dual mesh screen of the pop filter adds a lot of plosive diffusion, but still need to watch it due to the sensitivity of the mic. I am using it with an Apollo Solo preamp and the difference between this mic and my previous microphone, the CAD E100s, which is also a great mic, is night and day! I have had more bookings since using this microphone, and just booked the lead in an upcoming animated series. A professional microphone leads to professional bookings. Highly recommended for the home voice over studio, especially in COVID times.

Does the pop filter actually work with the shock mount ? I can’t seem to get it on it’s like either one or the other and I would assume it’s both together, if anyone has figured it out please reply

Works like a charm.

I'd purchased this for a friend who needed a new mic for his voice over business. When the package arrived, all the accessories were there, HOWEVER, the mic was in the box! There needs to be better quality control to ensure the package ships complete, period.
