My first time purchasing this particular brand, but it did not disappoint. Fresh solo black garlic, easy peel, just right amount of firmness for slicing and taste was spot on. Won’t hesitate to purchase again.

I've tried several varieties of black garlic in the past, but the Aaswad Black Garlic cloves are sweeter and larger than ones I've had before. They arrived in perfect condition. They're soft and savory and are the perfect complement to a meal. I like to cut them up in pieces and mix them with noodles or rice or use as an accent in salads. The texture is soft but firm and can easily be cut with a fork. This is my second order in a smaller size to give as a gift. The flavor is rather intense. It's not too garlicky but it is sweet almost like raisins. It's not something I like to eat by itself but the flavors meld well with other foods and adds a sweet dimension. Garlic is a nutrient rich super food and these are fun to eat! They have a "specialness" that I enjoy, and I look forward to including them in many more meals ahead. I love this black garlic. It takes several weeks and a special machine to make it yourself. This price is reasonable and I eat three cloves a day. As we all know that garlic is good for us and this I believe is even better. I love the taste of it and I even use it in cooking.

The black garlic arrived and was delicious as usual.

I am enjoying this brand because of the moistness and taste. The only thing is they are a bit smaller than some of the other brands I've purchased, but it works because it's by the weight. I'll just have smaller bites. Would buy from again when it goes on sale.

I ate a whole head of garlic today, not cooked in anything, or shared with anyone. Just as it is. At one point I decided to pair it with cheese, and that was great too, but really, it's fantastic to just eat on its own. I went off to eat another 2 cloves after writing those few sentences. Others have talked about its supposed health benefits, and maybe it has some, maybe it doesn't. Frankly, I don't care. It's delicious, that's all I know and care about. Besides, the only ingredient is garlic, so it can't exactly be unhealthy. The first time I ever saw black garlic was at a local farmers market. It was $8 for 1 head, this package has 5 heads of black garlic. Much better deal! I love to cook, and often try to make my own ingredients. For bread, I often grind my own flour. I make my own tofu. I make yogurt on a weekly basis. But I don't make my own black garlic. This is one of the few ingredients that I think it's better to just buy. And at this price, I can see myself buying it on a very regular basis I saw some comments about it being mushy, or hard to peel... Well, yeah... Black garlic is mushy, that's a feature, not a bug. You do need to be delicate with peeling it, but it's not hard. It peels easier than raw garlic imo, you just need to be careful not to crush it while peeling. There's no reason for you to need to lose any of the garlic during the peeling process

You know, i'm just trying to boost my health with natural things so I came across these and decided to give them a try. They actually don't really taste like garlic.There's a tinge, but it's kind of plum like, and I really like them. I would recommend.

Nice sweet flavours

If I had to describe it’s texture is that of a raisin, but the taste is of a soft and subtle dessert, like an honest healthy treat… I’ll definitely be buying more!

Great black garlic with a texture of sticky cheese, good taste & not aromatic

This is one complete bulb, not segments that most people would be used to. The bulb is it self, soft and tasty and has very delicate fragrance and taste. I tend to eat one a day whole and enjoyed it very much. I do not stink of garlic after as you might assume. A nice product and the plastic jar with lid is handy as it can be used for other stuff when finished.

I have in the past had some that they were dry, this are very moist, no sign or taste of humidity like some I had previously, grilled fig with camember and toast with butter and black garlic
