2013 crv works great!
A great upgrade to the key for my 2013 crv. I bought this car used and the key was taped together. This kit fit my key well and looks new. The screws are a little difficult to remove and reinstall, make sure that you apply enough downward pressure with the screw driver. Very happy with this purchase and I have a back up for the future if I need it.

Easy and works
There was on point in the assembly where I was having difficulty snapping it together, but with a little fiddling, it went together fine. My husband has this habit where he wears his keys on his belt where they constantly slam into each other. That how the housing broke in the 1st place. So it was great that I could buy a substitute housing. I put the new housing on 5 months ago and it is as strong as the original, if not more so. I put lock fast on the tiny screws so they wouldn't loosen. All's well and what a great price.

Instructions lack details, read the reviews for best result
I'm docking one star for the instructions omitting details that will get you the best possible result. The main one is covered perfectly in the review featuring a video staring pretty fingernails. Definitely watch that, my aging eyes would have missed that detail if I hadn't.The other is you should note the orientation of the key blade and screw in the original and put it back together in the new shell the same way, using the original Honda machine screw if it is available. The screw that comes with it is more of a self tapping wood screw. I would only use it in a pinch, or if the threads in the key blade are already trashed. It's a great value, looks good, easily installs, and is pretty good quality. This is way easier, faster, cheaper than buying a blank and going to a locksmith, or worse, the stealership.

Secure fit, remember the chip!
These shells work great. The parts fit really tightly together, and you will need to try both halves to get the blade sleeve fitted smoothly. It might help to slide the sleeve up into the recess on one of the halves rather than try to press it straight down. The results are well worth a moment or two of experimenting, all the OEM parts fit into the shell perfectly and everything lines up nicely.UPDATE: When you take the old shell apart, there is a spot that looks like a filled-in rectangle. That is actually a small box that contains the security chip which needs to be transferred to the new shell along with the lock/unlock buttons and the key blade. The box came apart when I tried to remove it, so the solution was to wrap the chip in a couple of layers of blue painter's tape to keep it from rattling. Both keys work fine.

Super easy to swap, good quality
Helpful tips:This cover was very easy to swap, just take note of the orientation of your key blade when you actually remove it since one side is sloped at the base (you’ll see it) so it goes in the same way. Also, the thing that the key blade slides into fits like a puzzle piece on the back half of the key, so install the key blade to the back half while you line up the remote/buttons piece on the front side. The only difference between the new and original is the piece that sticks out at the base of the key blade, and the badging. Don’t try to force and snap any of the plastic, because it all just fits together one way and feels very secure once it’s correct

Worked perfectly
I struggled at first trying to get it to go together, but I'm not too smart. I did however figure out if you put the key blade on the back half and the button stuff on front, it went together perfectly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A good purchase if you want your key to break off in the ignition.
Followed all directions for install. I transferred my key blade and remote opener to this new shell, for my Honda Odyssey 2015. Lasted about 6 weeks. Key blade broke off, stuck in the igntion. Almost gave my spouse a heart attack. She was stranded. Had to use a pair of needle nose pliers to get the right grip on it and remove it. Noticed a small crack on the shell and I think the tiny screw made out of Chinesium broke off. And of course, this company, Discount Keyless, has no contact information.I did actually end up reusing the house, for now, just to hold the key fob. I sealed it with bathroom-grade caulk

Be Aware of the lack of Security Chip
I bought this and put the inside buttons and key in, it worked great. However my car would not turnover. I was sure that my fuel pump had gone out and I was thinking about how much it was going to cost me to get it fixed!I don't know what made me Google to see if there was a security feature in the original key fob that would keep my 2006 Honda Ridgeline from starting!Well the answer is YES there actually is! On the original key fob there is kind of an L shaped piece of plastic in one corner. This is what communicates to the car that the key is legit. So I had to dig my original key fob out of the garbage and move the buttons and key back to the original fob, went out and my truck started right up.Not all was lost on this purchase however as I DID use the tiny screws that keeps the fob together!
