The product works well, but the 5-star rating is due to the awesome customer service. One grinder started failing intermittently after a year. I messaged the seller and they stood behind their product by quickly sending me a replacement. Product-wise, it grinds. Salt does manage to get in the battery area. I wonder if that's why it started failing.

Unbelievably good. Everyone know to pick up a salt cellar and shake salt on food. This device is EXACTLY the same - without the shaking. It just works. Fresh ground salt and pepper. Easy to fill, you see what you get and the batteries have their own clean compartment. Absolutely perfect machine.

I like the way they feel in my hand, easy to use, and the whole family likes using them. One unit quit after eleven months and never had to change the batteries. Changed the batteries and the light would come on but would not grind. So I ordered a new set. I had forgotten they had a two-year warranty before I trashed the non-working one. $20 a year as much as our family uses them, is a good buy.

Very nice grinding set. I love the look of these and the fact of not having to shaking them. However, when turning them upside down. The salt and pepper came out kinda fast. For that fact, I did return the item. The ease and size of these are good for holding in your hand.

******I finally heard back from this company and had excellent results. The response was slow but once they responded the replacements came within a few days. The customer service apologized for that and then set me a new set within a few days! Love my grinder sets! I will continue to recommend them to my friends and family! My dinner guests are always amazed at how well and easily they work!! Thank you Chrisn I am so disappointed as my salt grinder doesn’t work after only a few months!! I am hoping that this can be replaced. This is the second full set I have ordered. I ordered again because I love my 1st set that is over a year old and still working great. I recommend this to everyone and when people use it they always ask about it! Hopefully this one is just a faulty one and it can be replaced. I order the end of March for a gift set and the salt grinder no longer works.

Have been using these S&P grinders since last July. Really liked them at first. They were nice looking, sturdy and had nice large reservoirs. We have now concluded that this design is not very good and we are replacing our set and throwing these out. 1) The battery compartment is between the reservoir and the grinder. The salt grinder corrodes badly and we have to open it and jiggle the batteries to get it to work. 2) Because it automatically starts grinding when you flip it, (actually starts when the unit is sideways) salt and pepper remains in the top. You can not shake it empty because it will start grinding as soon as you turn it. 3) Since you have to flip it to grind the S&P has to get to the 'top' of the reservoir before it can grind. Best I can describe it is that it's like you have to 'prime' it to get it going. Sometimes you have to shake it to get it down to the grinder. So at first I don't get any salt so I shake it. Then I get a ton of salt all at once. Hard to regulate how much you get. 4) Because the S&P falls away from the grinder every time it is flipped back, you end up with a lot of partially ground stuff in the reservoirs. Don't mind too much with the salt but defeats the purpose of fresh-ground pepper. 5) The black mat finish looks great - but impossible to keep clean. Always has finger smudges that really show up. 6) The labels and the mark to line up to lock the reservoir on are worn off on the salt grinder. Nice idea and looks good, but doesn't work. I would pass on this one.

Easy to assemble, great for grinding salt and peppercorns. You need 6 AA batteries for each one. Love 'em!

We've had a lot of electrical mills and they all have some design flaw, until this one. It's easy to refill and holds more than most electric mills. The batteries are easy to install / replace. It's a solid build so I'm not worried about adding salt to a hot pot and having something fall off. Recommended.

Cool looking with the blue light, use only large sized pepper & salt .. uses a lot of batteries and the salt shaker quit working after about a month

Ware ist völlig in Ordnung und sehr gut, nur die immer wieder verlängerten Lieferzeiten und Liefertermine werden in keinster Weise eingehalten. Man braucht viel Geduld. Falls der Artikel dringend gebraucht wird, rate ich von einem Kauf ab.

Finally pepper grinders that work so well! Just tip, lights up and grinds well. Very happy with these and recommend highly to anyone who has tried to find decent ones for a while!!
