HYDAWAY 25oz Collapsible Water Bottle - BPA-Free, Leakproof, Lightweight, and Space-Saving - Perfect for Hiking, Travel, and All-Day Hydration

I have been looking for a non-obtrusive, compact water bottle to use when traveling. This one surprised me and is exactly what I needed. It packs very flat, so it’s easy to keep in my crossbody purse at all times. Easy to unfold and fill. It makes getting may daily 100 ozs water easier when traveling, and I don’t have to lug a backpack to carry a larger water bottle nor hold a bottle when we are out and about. I have not experienced any leakage. Some people complained about a rubber taste. I washed the bottle upon receipt in very hot water, then added some vinegar and boiling water and let it soak for an hour or so. Have not had a problem with water tasting like rubber. Others complained that the shape made the bottle unstable. I have not found this to be the case. However, it is easier if you hold the bottle along the widest part when filling. Other than that I have had no issues with the shape of it. Genius design, and easily tucks away without taking up too much space.

I love these collapsable water bottles. I liked so much I bought 3. We like the large version best because you can collapse part way and it is a smaller bottle. I love that it collapsed flat and it had a carrying case. I know many reviews said the clips broke but we usually carried inside our bags but I also purchased a better hook and it worked great. Never had any leaks and was good quality. It is not a hard plastic or rubber so it has some give but we had no trouble. Many people talked about cleaning and the rubber taste but I used the method of filling with water and sliced lemons, freezing and then cleaning in the sink and it worked perfect. I did this every other week and cleaned by hand the other times.

I bought these for my whole family for an Italian vacation to take advantage of the flowing potable water everywhere in the cities. Worked flawlessly, just make sure you tighten lid and rubber seal is in place. Collapsing feature and handle are easy to use. Slightly rubbery after taste briefly then it disappears. Great buy.

My primary goal was portability. However, the rubbery taste was unexpected. Here's how I broke down my evaluation, highest rating to lowest: 5 - Expansion: expanding and folding down is easy as long as the spout is open. There's a lip on the bottom you can use to pull the bottom portion open. 5 - Portability: while collapsed, it can be thrown in just about any sized bag; at the airport, I can fill it up after going through security and hook it to my backpack 5 - Leakage: the container does not leak for me, even if held upside down, or if light pressure (like being inside my carry-on) is applied 3 - Grip: for longer periods of time, it's not comfortable to hold a full container around the hard center (and I have large hands for a woman, 8-9" thumb to fingertip). I can hold onto the lower part of the lid if needed, but that's a bit awkward 3 - Versatile functionality: the carry ring on the lid works great when hooked to my carry-on for short distances, but I can see that letting the container swing around while full might put undue stress on the ring 3 - Cleaning: general cleaning is easy (soap and water), but a wire brush is required for deeper cleaning of the spout and folds 2 - Stability: it wobbles a lot when full; it is slightly more stable when the spout is closed. Fold it up a bit at a time as you drink the water, and it becomes increasingly more stable. But that's a lot of work for stability and functionality. Once you drink 1/3 of the water, you can collapse the bottom portion, then it holds very firmly, more than a regular water bottle can suffer. 2 - Drinking: it's easier to drink if you reduce the amount of air in the container as you drink. Same issue as above: that's more work than it's worth 1 - Taste: rubbery taste and smell are persistent

We were looking for a travel cup. It had to travel small, hold enough water to hydrate, and clip on to a bag. This was the absolute best option we found. Even better, it is dishwasher safe. It collapses, does not leak when the spout is correctly closed, and, if you grip in the firm middle section, is easy to get a drink. The mug will even stand up in its own. There is a mini handle at the top that we attached a carbine clip to attach to a bag. Do be aware that one time when the bottle was full and got jostled a bit, the mini handle did fall off. We just snapped it back on. Also go in knowing this bottle is not for hot liquids and will keep a drink cool for a bit when ice is added (the opening is large enough for a standard ice cube). It will not keep your drink cold all day. Before using, I recommend washing once or twice. The price was a bit more than we wanted to pay but would still recommend.

Bought a NEW 25 oz bottle and they gave me a USED bottle, the sticker that was to seal to item was tampered and opened and stuck back on, you can see the clear tape from the top and bottom do not match. The clear tape that is tampered , you can see the crease someone used to open the box. The item had scuff marks already on it as it was placed on a hard surface a couple times. I bought two of these for my wife and I and hers was delivered with no tape issues or creases and no scuff marks. You are charging me full price and then sending me a used unit?! Lets see what the replacement looks like for a future update post. Update: I ordered a replacement, the new one came with sealed tape this time that didn't look tampered. Curious to know why the lift spout you drink from has scratches and grooves in it as if someone but down on it. Checked my wife's bottle and it did not have this. The scuff at the bottom is visible, I believe this is standard depending on the color you pick. Also There was debris in the cup, I am hoping what I scraped off from the inner ring was just latex molding and not someone's last drink that dried off in there. The handle is really fragile and WILL break if not Gently used, the handles toughness is close to glued feather in shape of a handle. The rubber/latex used for the cup is really THIN, like hospital or surgical glove thin, meaning you do not want to scrape, poke, prod this thing by accident. The 25 oz is okay for a theme park refill but the 17 oz is the size of an office water cooler throw away cup. I would suggest trying another collapsable bottle if you are looking for durability and cost to item, because this feels cheap and not worth the asking price. Make sure to check your products from these guys to avoid getting swindled into used dirty bottles.

Awful. Only giving it two stars because it does collapse as stated but is very heavy and carries a very small amount of water. I did not use it. Gave it to grandkids to play with.

This is the best water bottle! I purchased it for my trip to Europe and it didn't disappoint! As I traveled through various airports, I was able to get fresh water, avoiding the ridiculous prices for water at the airport! I also used it while tourin during day in Europe. The fact that it collapsed, made it very easy to carry and use. I had several people ask where I purchased it! I love it and would purchase again!
