Good powerful motor
Powerful motor for it's size. It has an 8mm shaft and comes with an 8mm to 6mm adaptor and a set of spare brushes. This was used to repair an electric watch cleaning machine that was converted to 24V operation from mains. Worked fine with no problems and included bracket made it easy to mount.

The screws have both threaded
The motor works perfectly, just a shame the 2 screws have both threaded, just doing the bolts up by hand a few times and the threads have nearly gone on the screws, needs to be off a stronger material

Excellent Motor and Very Quiet
The motor ( 12 VDC , aprox. 2.5 Amps full load ) arrived 2 days after I ordered it ! I ordered one from eBay and waited 3 weeks for it and Ebay had to refund my purchase , and it was from a USA seller ! My opinion is , and it's just my opinion only , some people are having these motors dropped shipped from China or some where off shore , causing issues . I use this motor for Experimental Mechanical Television purposes . ( Narrow Band TV ) The motor is practically silent !!! It performs the needed 1200 to 1500 RPM's for the light load of the scanning disk . It also came with a spare set of carbon motor brushes ! And a mounting bracket . The shaft is 8mm , and I found shaft couplers , 8mm shaft extenders and motor hubs that also work well with this motor also on Amazon , and , it was all very reasonably priced ! The motor shaft extends a bit further than I thought it would , but that is great ! I also found a good DC motor speed controler and a 12 VDC , 5 Amp power supply on Amazon . I think with a gear box ( for persons who need slower speed but with more torque ) this motor would be an awesome , affordable item . For NBTV hobbiests , this motor , and Amazon in general , are a God Send .

Perfect motor for stained glass grinder
Quiet and smooth running. Does not slow down while grinding the glass. I mounted the motor above the water with a plastic barrier between .. I hope the shaft doesn't rust, or water get up into the bearing.
