This is one of the best purchases I've made. As a pro photographer I'm fussy about lighting. This floor lamp is direction adjustable, never shines directly in your face, has an easy touch adjustable dimmer, gives you a choice of color temperature and on/off, all included in touch pad on lamp and in addition a remote control. Easy to assemble, this lamp is simple understated elegance that will blend with any style decor.

My girlfriend and I recently purchased this lamp, and we were so impressed that we ended up buying a second one! This lamp has truly exceeded our expectations in terms of both functionality and design. One of the standout features of this lamp is the convenience of the included remote control. This is the fourth pole lamp I’ve put together in the past 6 weeks. The others were through the Vine program, but I liked the concept and purchased this lamp for its added brightness. Likes: Brighter than similar lamps. Three different light settings. Simple to operate. Comes with its own remote control. Works with Amazon smart plug. Very good directions. Dislike. Not stable at all. Not recommended if placed where it can be bumped. Overall. Simplicity of this lamp. Two of the other lamps I ordered were classified as smart lamps, operated through software installed on your phone. Negative comments on those were by people that just wanted an easy to operate lamp. This lamp is easy to operate and there is no app to download. I added an Amazon smart plug to the other smart lamp for simplicity I lost some features but I just wanted simplicity. This lamp works perfectly with an Amazon smart plug, for those that don’t want to be tied to a remote. You do need the remote to adjust brightness. Stability. All of the lamps that I ordered were in the range of 10 pounds. Although the base seems heavy, the lamps are so tall they are not stable. Great for a no pet, no child household, or if placed in a secure location. Assembly. I recommend placing the lamp on the floor with a pillow under the bulb part. The base props the lamp up and using a pillow on the other end levels it off and makes assembly easier. There was a loose nut in the box with no direction on using the nut. It did go on under the base. Probably not needed. There does appear to be excess cord between the bulb part and the top tube. Slowly pulling the cord at the base removes the slack. The cord, or wiring, runs through every piece. That takes guesswork away. On other smart lamps that I ordered there is a separate tube with no cord running through it. The directions were on those were poor. I placed the separate piece at the bottom, it belonged at the top, and pulled the excess cord. The wiring split. Trashed the lamp. After that learning experience, I ordered another lamp and assembled it easily. Adapter. This is important. The directions state not to use any other adapter. On one of the other lamps I ordered, a less expensive one, the adapter was missing. I used another adapter that I had, and blew the lamp. I trashed it. Another reviewer had the same experience. No adapter in the box, used another adapter, the wire started melting. The remote. Initially it didn’t work. I reread the directions. It said the remove the film on the battery. I hadn’t noticed any film. I removed the film and presto, it worked perfectly. I can recommend this lamp.

I live in an apartment with my wife. We have two bedrooms and a living room that has no ceiling lights. If not for the hallway or kitchen lights then those rooms would be pitch black. So we ordered medium-height lamps that barely lit those 3 rooms up. My wife also operates better when the sun is out and shining so a gloomy room drains her energy and productivity. We switched the lightbulbs to white light but the rooms are still gloomy. We placed lamps in each corner but the middle was always dull, there was always something missing. I was at my wit's end and decided to research standing lamps that would illuminate the room at an affordable price. Luckily, Amazon suggested these JOOFO floor lamps. I looked at the review photos and was surprised yet skeptical at how well the rooms were lit, but ultimately decided to try one. The day it arrived, I was super excited to surprise my wife. I assembled it, took about 15 minutes, most time spent reading the care instructions. I ordered the black version and it looks nice, matte black, and very sleek. It is also a good height at 5 feet 9, perfect height for us since I am 5 feet 7 and my wife is under so the lights did not beam directly into our eyes. I set it in the living room corner. When my wife came home, she didn't notice the lamp since it blended with the background. Then night came and I asked her to grab something from the bathroom. I turned the lights on and it illuminated the entire space. The top is circular with tiny LEDs pointing upward (it swivels and tilts too) but pointing up lights the most. Once she walked back, she gasped and jumped and danced with excitement. I loved seeing her smile and laugh. She was very happy over how bright the room was. There were no shadows and we could see each other clearly. We spent a good 30 minutes just playing around with the brightness, light types, and testing how far the remote can reach (far but needs a straight line of sight to work). It is lightweight, can move it with one arm. There is also a magnet section in the middle and the controller sits there. The next day came and she stayed in the living room all day just admiring how productive and happy she was. With our curtains closed, it looked like daylight, couldn't tell the difference if it was day or night. We liked the pure white light most. She jumped onto Amazon and ordered 3 more: 2 for our main bedroom and 1 for our guest bedroom. We've owned these 4 lamps since late October 2024, so it's been almost 5 months, and for the most part, they're still functional and bright. However, the remote control got miswired. Since we have 2 lamps in one room, one remote would randomly control the other and vice versa. And sometimes, one remote controlled both and sometimes none. We have to think creatively and turn both off, wait 5 minutes, then try again and it would usually reset. But there was one occasion where we had to separate the two lamps and unplug some things since both lamps would not turn on. We're assuming it might be due to low voltage since we constantly have plugged in an air purifier, air humidifier, fan, and indoor plant light, so be mindful of your environment. Overall, I am impressed by these JOOFO standing lamps. Glad to own 4 of them. They fulfilled our needs, looked nice, and lasted long (except for remote control issues). Will see if they make it a full year.

I didn't have any built-in light fixtures in the living room; it was so dark it actually affected my mood. I only had a small floor lamp in there. Even with a 100 watt florescent replacement, it was a terrible work-from-home office space. Adding this light really changing up the space. I use this lamp every day when I get home until I sleep. I use all three light colors (warmer during the evening when I'm relaxing prior to sleep and cooler during the day when I'm working). I also change the amount of light (lumen) output depending on my current task (more for work although I use a dedicated task lamp and less for watching movies or gaming). I keep the remote by the light switch at the door so I can easily turn it on/off with the other lights. This lamp has been a welcome piece in my home. When I first got it, I didn't like how I really couldn't tilt it. Not that the tilt function doesn't work, but you're staring into the light if it's tilted toward you at all. However, I just keep the lamp head parallel to the ceiling and it bounces/floods the room with light. I can also tap the control pad on the lamp itself to turn it off/cycle through color temperatures without using the remote. It's more difficult to adjust light output without remote. The non-standard battery used in the remote lasts a long time. Now, one light source in a room pointed up to the ceiling doesn't really cover the room well so I bought a second lamp (different brand, a torchiere) for the corner next to this lamp so they cover one side of the room in light. Being able to cover the room with these two different lamps has made all the difference in my mood and alertness. I recommend this lamp if you are looking for: a floor lamp with different color temperatures, adjustable amount of light output, remote. I do NOT recommend this lamp if you need it to be sturdy - if you plan to use in the middle of a room, have pets or kids. I bought two floor lamps to light up our large Piano room and they did the job perfectly. There are no more shadows, the music and Piano keyboard are lit well, and the color temperature selection feature allowed me to match other lighting in our home. We don’t use the remotes after setup since we power the lamps from outlets controlled by the room light switch. Note each remote controls only it’s respective lamp. Assembly was easy and the lamps are sturdy. We placed the lamps in two corners of the room pointing straight up. We like the sleek, modern design, the bright light output on the highest setting, and that they don’t take up much room, fitting easily behind accent chairs. Though the head of the lamps can pivot, I found when angling the light toward the center of the room it was painful on the eyes to look back into those corners toward the tilted lamp heads—plenty of light was reflected into the room with the lamp head pointe straight up and that eliminated any eye strain from looking into the lamp heads. My wife and I love these floor lamps. They exceeded our expectations in quality, setup, sturdiness, fit/finish, style/design, easy of use, and brightness.

Good part: These are the super awesome (and very affordable) floor lamps I use at home. I hate ordinary floor lamps that blind you unless they have a dark shade. But with the dark shade, floor lamps don't give off much light. These work a different way. These lamps bounce a powerful beam of LED light off the ceiling, and give you bright (but not harsh) lighting all over your room. The bounce helps the light spread out so that there is no harsh shadow. For your space, you would want 3 or 4 of these. Each comes with a remote control that lets you contol the power (brightness), and the color temperature (yellowish, white, bluish). I like the bluish a lot. Easy to set up, takes about 5 minutes a light to unpack and get running. Trouble-free after that. I totally recommend these. If your ceiling is anything but black, they should work for you very well. Just look up to see what color your ceiling is painted. PS - these can be tilted to bounce off a wall, and work very well that way too. Key idea is that the bounced light spreads out very smoothly. Makes it nice for computer work, no glare or reflections. You may stumble a little when you have several of these if you don't read the note on pairing the remote control with the each lamp. Its easy, just hold a button down on the remote when you plug the lamp in to power. If you don't pair the control, you'll have one controller running two lamps and another control not workng at all.
