Review: A Definite Buy - I am extremely pleased with this pan. I have been looking for months for cookware that’s safe, good and will last but that doesn’t cost hundreds/thousands of dollars. GreenPan kept coming up in my research as a contender so I decided to try. Originally I purchased a GreenPan frying pan from Walmart for $40; however, it turned out to be a waste of money. It worked great the first time I used it but food started sticking after the first use. I decided to try the more expensive GreenPan frying pan which lead me to this one. The Valencia Pro is the best. It’s heavy, holds heat and cooks evenly. It can also be used in the oven. I have used it every day and it is amazing…nothing sticks so it makes clean-up a breeze. I’m going to use it a while longer just to test it a little more but if it continues to be as good as it is now I will definitely be buying more GreenPan cookware. But my advise…don’t waste your money on the cheaper versions of GreenPan…spend a little more and get the Valencia Pro…it’s well worth the extra cost.

The eight-inch, scratch-resistant frying pan is intended for single-serving meals. The size of the pan makes it useful for cooking eggs, toasting nuts, melting cheese, or reheating meals. It is designed to allow you to cook without excess oil. I found the pan to warm-up quickly and distribute heat evenly. Clean-up is easy. Food slides out of the light-weight pan which is dish-washer safe. The pan can go in the oven or broiler up to 600 degrees. Maybe its strongest benefit is that the utensil is non-toxic and doesn’t leach harmful chemicals into food. The pan is suitable for all stovetops, including induction. Although the pan is durable and scratch-resistant, to extend the pan’s life, it’s recommended that wooden or silicone utensils be used.

This pan is fantastic, I love it! Some of the pricier brands had been calling me, but I am not at all disappointed with this pan. After it arrived, I washed it dried it and immediately cooked some eggs. It performed exactly as advertised and I have used it several times since then all to great satisfaction. It is such a handy size and I’m sure I will get so much use from this wonderful little pan. Don’t hesitate to buy it. I don’t think you would ever be disappointed in this. It’s not an inexpensive piece of cookware, but it is one that you will use over and over and each time say to yourself. I’m so glad I bought this.
