This composter really works! It is breaking down kitchen scraps in no time. The best addition to your garden!

Bought for a couple of reasons. Outside - must. Pet waste. Dual zone design. The body is foam and holding up well. Lid and door are tight. Bought so my wife can scoop the yard and after walks throw the beyondGreen bags in the composter and not the trash can. The bags eventually break down but do seem to get hung up in the mixer and bottom flaps that open to dump the mixed contents into the bin below. But really no problems there. I tried cat litter using clumping corn based, not cheap, litter. Of course the smell is terrible. Mixing baking powder with borax helped but I would need to move the composter away from the porch where it wouldn't be as convenient at night after walking the dogs. And wasn't happy with the performance of the litter. So that was my experience. Seems expensive. But it is doing what I really wanted it to do and that was to keep the dog poop out of the trash can. Again, you will want to keep this outside.

This will literally explode four months after use--like blow its door off and crack down the middle. I had concerns about the smell and power use, but the exploding is a definite deal breaker. This was just will veggie scraps. Could this be user error from not measuring my wood chips to moisture ratio just so? Possibly, but even when I was trying to be precise, it was never as described. I will be sticking to more traditional methods after this over-priced catastrophe. The most disturbing part depending on your perspective is that it never stopped working, but at least the house didn't burn down.

I purchased this composter from Beyond Green in July 2020 and finally received the unit in September 2020. The unit worked great and was able to break down organic matters in about two weeks with minimal smell. However, the unit stopped working in about one year. It no longer produces heat and as a result, the decomposition takes a lot longer. I reached out to the company in September 2021 and did not receive a response. The corporate office was about an hour away from where I live, so I decided to take the unit to them. They promised that they would fix the unit. I got the unit back a few weeks later. It is not fixed. Not only does it still not produce heat, it has stopped churning. I have made numerous attempts to contact the company to no avail. When I called their office again today, they simply asked me to email the same email address that did not respond to my previous emails. It's rather disappointing to see that the company is not willing to stand behind their products. It's actually a good product when it works.
