CGX102 Classical Acoustic-Electric Guitar, Natural

TLDR; Wonderful all around affordable classical guitar. Pickup works great. I teach music to young children (6 and under) and needed an affordable instrument I could use with them (don't want to risk my expensive Martin 000-15M). This is the third guitar I purchased for this purpose. I returned the other two (yamaha c40 and cordoba c5). I liked the c40, but it had some build quality problems (lots of fret buzz, bridge buzz). This plays very like the c40 but it built much better as far as I can tell (no buzz etc). The tuner and electronics are great. Very easy to use and effective. Despite the included pickup etc. this is still a very light guitar. Very comfortable to play. Sounds great. This also has a guitar strap post on the bottom of the guitar (unlike the c40 which lacked it). I liked this much much better than the cordoba, which had great reviews but sucked in person. My only complaints are the decorative tuners which look a bit silly, and the fact that you cannot adjust the action on this guitar (no adjustable truss rod etc.). The action is great, but still it would be nice to have that option. At $300 though, I cannot complain. This is a quality instrument that is really fun to play.

Very good little guitar! If you are looking into buying a small guitar for traveling or to your kids, look no further. It is a perfect kids guitar as it is easy to tune, sounds good and has smaller spaced frets. For 100 bucks it is good value as the craftmanship is amazing! Compared to toy guitars or other Chinese produced crap which is not playable, this guitar could be played by an adult, altough a bit unusual due to the small frets and higher tuning. As a bonus it is NOT made in China!

The playability of this instrument was terrible, there were several vibrations from the low strings, creating unpleasant noises and I even had to pay 70 dollars to return it.

This guitar is great bang for your buck and I love playing it, I am kind of disappointed in their quality control for letting such a visible scuff go through. It’s on the fretboard and was strung up with the damage, meaning no one down the line cared about it. Minor in the grand scheme of things but would really like to have seen better QC at this price point

Good sounding Yamaha Classical guitar with pickup. & Very light weight.

This is a great guitar at this price point. The action is good, the sound is rich and loud. The electronics are very nice and customizable. I play it every day.

the guitar feel solid have good sound ,, but the string is made cheap i have to replace all nylon string after a week

I loved this guitar, but unfortunately, the electronics did not work when I received it, so I sent it back. I am debating whether to reorder. The acoustic sound was great, I loved the weight, and I liked the finish.
