I'm in my mid 50's, I bought these to wear while riding my trail bike. They fit really well, are really comfortable, and they look amazing (my wife says). They are really lightweight, all the pockets take a bit of getting used to. Give them a try. Sucks that summer is over, I love these shorts.

Right off the bat I'll admit that I thought bicycle riding shorts were, to some degree, all the same with variations. I was wrong! The other pair of shorts I wear for long distance has a built in pad that can be detached and has belt loops for those that wear a belt. These shorts have no belt loops. They have adjustable "wings" on the hips that, when pulled, tighten your shorts for a correct fit with velcro snugness. These shorts also have 2 snap buttons, one with Velcro around it in case of accidentally coming unsnapped. The other brand I wear has only one push through button holding the pants together. The pockets are impressive! Deep with good zippers and the front pockets have a snap over cover protecting the zipper and offering double protection. Another reviewer stated they felt like silk. They are soft, stretchable in all directions and very comfortable. I wear these with wool underwear for all day comfort riding in the heat. If I felt I needed extra padding, padded underwear or shorts can be worn. I picked the Green and Black colors to hide the dirt. I actually wear the green pair a lot just riding around as I have no car. For the cost versus the other major brand, it was no brainer. Give them a try! At the very worse, you can return them but I really doubt you will because they are really that good of a short for the price! I would add pictures but the manufacturer has done a accurate view of what I and others have described. UPDATE: After several weeks of riding around town during the pandemic, I noticed that after mounting the bike, the shorts seemed to have dropped/slid slightly off of my waist and I ended up pulling them up over my crack one handed as I steered my bike off on my bike rides. If you ride with a money belt, no belt loops like the more expensive Endura brand. For the price, I can continue to pull these up!

So light and stretchable to fit anyone with lots of pockets in the front and none in the back. Perfect for cycling. If you are into serious weight distribution down to the ounce or gram over the pedals this might work with the front pockets. Me not so much. If your ride has a hard seat with long rides this won't help and not designed for that. Purchase cycling underwear with pads or get a better seat.With 92 percent polyester versus heavier jean shorts with mostly cotton these are much lighter and are going to last a lot longer. It provides plenty of front pockets to take care of items on a ride as long as you don't go overboard and is stylish if you have great looking legs. If not still the best cycling pants I have found which will not be used in the current Tour de France as they don't carry smart phones in the pockets they don't have. For the rest of us in real life they are a pretty good deal at a reasonable cost. You decide.

I work outdoors so a light, durable, waterproof pair of shorts is great. I really like the waistband has slight elasticity to it to expand. I am in between sizes so it makes it more comfortable. Just a couple of takeaways I thought needed improving. The bottoms fall right at my knees making me slightly pull them up before bending otherwise they get caught on my knees. Guys with longer legs won't have this issue. I'm 5-9". Secondly, although I live the multiple pockets for storage of cell phones, wallet, keys etc. The pocket placement is not equal on the left and right side so putting both hands in your pockets at the same time is awkward. Other than that great shorts. Wish they came in a light grey.

This is my second pair and really enjoy them biking. Ample pockets to store my items. Did many 20 to 40 miles rides and thhe shorts hold up well. Suggest you wear biking shorts under.

The quality looks great and the size will match if you measure you body according to the chart. I’m 6.3 and weight 190 pounds, according to the chart measurement the best size is XXL, ordered it and fits perfectly.
