Same Bow used in most Archery courses
This bow was a gift for my grandson and was very highly recommended by the instructor at his archery class. This type of bow is used to teach archery in most archery courses. I'll admit I know next to nothing about archery. My grandson is right handed, so I just assumed he'd use a right handed bow. My grandson's first archery lesson led us to discover I was wrong - the instructor determined that while my grandson was right handed, he is left eye dominant and that is the determining factor in archery. Would have been nice to know this before I bought him a right handed bow. Well, I corrected that mistake by getting him this one - a left handed bow. I would caution anyone interested in getting started in archery to talk to a knowledgeable instructor FIRST to help find the right bow for you - could have saved myself about $125. This is the same type of bow my grandson is using at his archery class and this kit has everything you'd need. You get the bow, 5 arrows, an adjustable arm guard, a hip quiver and the back has 2 face targets you can use. After researching this purchase I found this Genisis Kit was lower than any I could find for the same item. Best price I found elsewhere was $229 - a savings of $27

Damaged product not worth the money just get the bow
I love archery and wanted to compete at the school level. So this being the nasp official bow I bought it so I could practice and compete. I also bought a case in Target. And total it cost me over $300 I got it And the arrows were bent. nocks were falling out and was just in all a horrible experience. I am a high-school student who cannot afford to purchase new arrows. It is $36 for 6 arrows this is crap. I thought I was going to get five good arrows to use when I bought this boat so that I could practice for the next school year. Instead I got three usable arrows and two arrows that were bent one of them missing the nock. The Bowen of itself is good but I would never recommend getting the kit it is absolutely awful.

Quality equipment.
My son had used Genesis bows in his archery club at school, and wanted one for his birthday (an upgrade from what he had). He has been SO happy with it. It feels durable and dependable. I love that it was easy to help him adjust the draw weight to suit him. The company has a lot of great information available online to help settle into proper use, and it's been a great resource. He displays decent accuracy and feels really comfortable with the feel and response of it. We are very pleased with our choice on this bow. It's truly everything he hoped it would be. Recommend!

Great Purchase!
Bought two of these sets( in camo for Christmas for a couple of grand kids that come of age this year. Our whole family shoots and I have bought for and taught all of my kids and all of their kids starting at around 8 or 9. All the others (7) I started with the youth PSE's and Samicks. Supposedly because you can upgrade the limbs as they grow. Really? Try to find just the limbs anywhere! The Genesis bows are beautifully made of quality material and come with everything you need to start except maybe a finger tab. Nice rests, good arrows with a quiver and arm guard. When the basics are coming along well there are holes to add sights and plungers if you like. Pretty sure the older kids are going to be Jealous. Finally the price is amazing for such a nice outfit. Cheaper actually than what the starter recurve bows with accessories set me back Merry Christmas!.

Nice package with bow
Bought for my 11-year-old daughter. She loves it. Ready to shoot right out of the package, but we reduced the draw by backing off on the limb bolts 1 turn, equal to a reduction of about 1.5 lbs draw weight (instructions provided in owner's manual). Made a big difference. Nice package with bow, quiver, 5 aluminum arrows, and arm guard. Allen wrench for adjusting draw also included in package. Highly recommend this kit for young shooters.

Very nice quality bow
We liked the color, as it is easy to see in the grass when practicing outside. It has performed as expected as NASP shoot events. Our only problem, 4 months after purchase, is that the string is starting to fray where it is connected, and we were instructed to have it restrung as it will not be allowed in competition. I understand this will not be expensive, but I think this bow may have sat around in a warehouse or heated environment a little too long to degrade the string with barely normal use. We did buy an orange bow, which no one else on the team has, so maybe that color is not a quick selling item. Just fyi

Wonderful starter/ competition bow
This bow was purchased for Christmas and is a great bow as expected. Mathews puts out some wonderful archery products and this is no exception. This bow is for my daughter who will be in competition archery and it is right out of the box compliant for most school archery programs and I believe 4-H as well. Well made with a great grip, balance and easy poundage adjustments not to mention very fun to shoot. I even get my hands on it and am able to shoot it as there is no draw adjustments. The only thing that I may mention was that the berry looked more of a royal purple in the pictures but is definitely more of a lighter purplish pink than what I thought. Either way it is fine and does not affect our opinion of this bow. Well made, fun to shoot and I would recommend it to any young person who is interested in learning archery without a need for the huge investment up front. If they truly enjoy it then you can upgrade to another bow for hunting etc.

Awesome Bow for anyone in the family
I purchased this bow for my 11 yr old daughter for her birthday but the whole family has enjoyed using it! I had to adjust the draw weight down a bit but the instructions for doing so were very clear and the proper allen wrench is also supplied. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that is looking to get into archery.

Great bow for all ages.
This is the bow the high schools in the area use to compete. It even has it's own class. It's one size fits all. Currently I've got it dialed all the way back for my 7 year old daughter. She loves it. At the range I attend they also only say good things about this bow.

Genesis bows are incredible for kids and up to adult ...
Genesis bows are incredible for kids and even adults to play with. I’ve tried three other brands before spending a bit more money to get this one. Wish I would have just got this one from the start.

Arrows are not well made
The arrow rear ended if the arrow (nock) broke off after one day of use.
