I use to buy a more expensive brand of cortisol and then read a review comparing it to this product. I have found they work the same and I'm pleased with my sleep when I take it. I have no side effects.

Like others, I found this supplement because I was directed to Cortisol Manager which is 3x the price. I have been using for almost two weeks now and I am blown away at the difference taking this supplement makes to my sleep. I'm post meno and even on HRT, sleep is a struggle for me. I go to sleep np but wake up somewhere around 2 and need a bathroom break and then can't get back to sleep. Since taking Sleep Tonight, I have been sleeping 7 hours straight and no urge to get up. What I will say is to look around for better prices. After I bought this for 28 dollars here, I found it elsewhere deeply discounted on a reputable supplement site and bought in bulk.

I chose this after searching for something to help regulate my cortisol levels and reading the reviews for Cortisol Manager. Falling asleep wasn't a huge issue for me but staying asleep along with getting up in the morning (verrrryyyy slow start to my mornings) were my issues. It appears that tjis has helped with both. I still wake up once or twice at nite but fall back asleep easily. In the morning, I'm back to waking before the alarm and I'm productive before noon without extra caffeine to push me along. Ordering my second bottle and referring my daughter to this product. I started taking this to get myself off the high alert status from being my mother's caregiver for so many years. Will take for a few more weeks and then start weaning from them. My hopes are tjis is resetting my system to a more natural cycle of cortisol fluctuation.

While this is marketed as a sleep aid, it actually works as a cortisol manager. In fact, one of my naturopathic doctors sells it over double the price, but puts a different label on it, as Cortisol Manager. When I figured out it was exactly the same product, with the exact same ingredients, made by the same company, but was marketed as a sleep aid, and is way cheaper, I began to buy this product as Sleep Tonight. At first I found it on the shelves in my local Vitamin Cottage, then I found it here on Amazon for $5 less! This doesn't put me to sleep, but it does help with controlling cortisol which comes from too much stress and late nights. Taking it before bed is ideal, as it does have a calming effect.

Below is my original review, and I've been ordering this product for years. However, this time when I ordered it, 9-23-23, a different product was in the same bottle and box. It looks different - tan/brown tablets instead of white, and it smells and tastes terrible. Worst of all, it doesn't work the same! My sleep was much more restless and I woke up feeling anxious. What happened? I'd love to hear from this company about what caused them to change this pill. In the meantime, I'm changing my 5-star review to 1-star and I'm not buying this again! *********** I'm finally going to write a review for this product. I really like this sleep aid! And I have certainly tried my share. Like Goldilocks, some were way too strong, some way too weak, but this one was juuuust right! This product got me sleeping and staying asleep regularly. When I do wake in the night to, um, use the restroom, I don't feel drugged and I'm able to fall asleep again fairly easily. I wake feeling relaxed and normal, not drowsy, irritated, headachy, or anxious. This one's a win for me, and I continue to buy it after using it nightly for more than a year. (I don't have any addiction feelings either. If I accidentally run out, I'm not feeling withdrawal, I just don't sleep quite as well.) For the price, I'd recommend anyone try it...and sweet dreams.

I purchased this for my husband. He is on a lot of medication and I needed something that would not interact with his medication. This works really well, he is able to get a good night sleep, does not wake up drowsy and it is safe for him to take.

If you have trouble sleeping and are looking for something to put you out, this is Not the product for you. This is a nighttime dietary supplement designed to reduce stress. I take it two to three hours before I intend to go to bed. It does not change my sleep pattern but I do find it helps me wake up with less anxiety. The primary reason I use it is the cortisol reducer, so I’m less stressed. Only three stars for the high price.

Since going through menopause, I have not been sleeping well. It turned worse to where I was waking up at 3am EVERY night and couldn't fall back asleep. Did a little research and came across this wonderful product. I kid you not, the FIRST night I popped one of these miracle pills, although I still woke up at 3, I fell back asleep!!!! Second night, same result. Third night I slept through the night. It feels so good to be rested! I did have a hard time waking up this morning (3rd night), so i need to determine if it's simply because my body is finally catching up on sleep or if I shouldn't take this product every night. Sometimes what works for one person doesn't work for another. Only time will tell, but currently I am very pleased 😊
