Zippo Filigree Lighters

If I could give this lighter 10 stars, I would, this is an absolute masterpiece. The limited edition 1932 Zippo Filigree Lighter is everything a collector or enthusiast could hope for and more. From the moment you take it out of the box, you can feel the craftsmanship. The filigree detailing is stunning, intricate, precise, and clearly done with a level of care you just don’t see anymore. It’s not just a lighter, it’s a piece of art with real historical character behind it. The weight and balance are perfect, giving it that solid, unmistakable Zippo feel. The iconic “click” is crisp and satisfying, exactly what you expect from a brand with this kind of legacy. It lights reliably every time, even in less-than-ideal conditions, which just reinforces why Zippo has such a loyal following. I really don't think I need to explain to you the quality of this lighter's materials or anything like that. This is, after all, a Zippo. Unlike some brands whose name used to mean quality but these days not so much, I can tell you that Zippo hasn't gone downhill. This is just as good as the one it replaced, which finally had its hinge snap off the lid after forty years of pretty much daily use. Also, the innards are actually the exact same. I checked it out and wound up popping the old one's guts into this one's case. Waste not want not, and they were the same. The old insides were still just fine after all. Now, the design. Absolutely beautiful, as you can see from the listing image. The only thing you can't tell from the image: In the picture the design looks pretty deep, or it did to me at least. It's not deep. That's actually a good thing, because that means it won't fill up with pocket, purse, or hand crap over time like anything will. Remember, this is going to last you decades if you take proper care of it. I recommend this to anyone, whether you smoke or not. A good lighter is a smart thing to have around, on par with a good pocket knife. And if that's your mentality in buying a lighter, then you're done shopping, besides picking your favorite Zippo design.

I'd have to say this is my favorite zippo lighter I ever owned so far. It's pretty, feels good in ya hand, and works well.

I have always trusted the ZIPPO Name. They are quick, easy, durable, classic and classy. The carving is Beautiful and so is the METAL an the Armor Case feels heavier, which I like. Also item arrived on SUN 31 DEC 2017, INCREDITASTIC. I have a friend who works at ResCar, Gordon, Georgia, US and he worked in a place with highly volatile chemicals and they gave him an ARMOR Case High Polish Chrome for working there as he smokes. There can be no spark so ZIPPO is trusted where Spark or Flame could Cause Serious Injury or even Death. ZIPPO is to the Lighter as DURACELL is to the Battery. TRUSTED EVERYWHERE

I like the appearance of it, but I didn't uh replacing the insert. For whatever reason it seems like this thing just dries out really quick. I replaced the insert with a butane torch with more longevity.

I bought several different Zippo lighters for family this Christmas. I trust Zippo quality and reliability. I ordered them late in the holiday shopping season. I resigned myself to the lighters not being received in time for Santa’s big day. However, Amazon made it happen. I received all of them in time to wrap and let Santa do his thing. I’m very satisfied with the lighters and know I can count on Amazon. While other companies explain they will compensate buyers with $5 if items not received timely Amazon always gets the job done right and when promised.

I ordered two of these for Mother's day; One for my mama and one for my b/f's. Although I have not gifted these out yet not filled or used them, I personally love them! First off I must say that shipping speed was excellent. Ordered on Monday and had it in my hands on Wednesday. I was a bit worried due to all the reviews I had read about people complaining that it was too heavy... Its a Zippo people! Its supposed to have some weight to it. I did not notice any extra weight on these compared to the few dozen Zippos my dad has had that I have handled. I tested the "wont stand up straight due to the front plate being to heavy" and I had no such problem. I think these reviewers may have been smoking cr*Ck and or have never owned a Zippo before. The lighter itself is gorgeous. Perfect for two classy ladies that happen to smoke like chimneys. I would get one for myself if I hadnt given up my terrible habit of smoking cigarettes a year ago. Now maybe I will consider letting these robot cigarettes go...

I rate this a 3 only because I love Zippos. The design wore off within 2 months. I have many Zippo lighters. I want so many new designs but I hesitate to buy them as many I've bought within the last few years, the designs wear off quickly (And not because of over use). Whatever process they're using these days is not acceptable. I have a dolphin lighter from 2000 and the design is still perfect after heavy use. I guess if you just want to collect them & not use them very often that's fine. The brass or silver lighters with actual embossing are fine!

Another great reliable petrol lighter from Zippo. This Brass lighter feels solid and heavy with a thick, black-brass classic Floral Emblem design, on the side (the lid still flips n'clunks as usual, and the lighter has a normal brass insert). I'd say this was "a must" for the collector. This lighter would also make a very good present, with space for engraving, on the other side. A real nice thing, so if you like Zippo and can afford it, BUY it.

As a non-smoker, I was apprehensive about spending so much for a lighter however I regularly burn incense and bought it for this purpose and so far I am happy that I did. Admittedly, I wanted a zippo as they are collectable but this one did stand out as it had no negative reviews on quality unlike many others I came across whilst searching and I liked the genuine double sided engraving. Alongside with this item I also purchased flints, fuel and the plastic cap for the bottom of the insert which I was surprised to learn doesn't come with the product as I've not had a Zippo before but all in all I do know quality, am extremely picky and can be tight with my spending etc. yet this product seems like a worthwhile lifetime buy for 2020 and beyond.
