Trying to survive here, despite chemicals, pesticides, growth hormones, genetically engineered and modified seed, animals raised in the most un natural way, in inhumane, filthy, stressful and disgusting conditions and then dipped in dyes and chemicals to 'look' fresh at market, polluted waters, air, yada. All this to absolutely ensure our having to be treated with expensive medications, to stay alive.Which might alleviate a symptom or two, but do nothing to stop the progression of the disease or additional diseases caused by this toxic overload and deficient nutrition. I just got one of the best weapons to use in my war against old age, dis -ease and infirmity. It is a Green Star, Twin gear, 2000 juicer. I had a Champion for thirty years and sometimes a Norwalk, during that time... The Norwalk disappeared during one of my moves, and the Champion just died. I used to make the juice a gallon at a time, and add lemon as something of a preservative. With our busy schedules, we don't have the time to eat all the greens needed, or to make all of the individual juices, that it would take to do us much good. Never having to see a Doctor, or take any kind of medication, either prescribed or OTC in over thirty years, has been the reward. The Green Star is one of the few affordable juicers that will produce a juice that might last a few days in the frig. It was recommended, that canning jars with seals be purchased, and the juice stored in 8 Oz portions. So I bought these Jarden Home Brands #60000 Ball 12PK 1/2PT Mason jars They really have been a life saver. No pun intended. They are easy to fill, store and use. I was afraid of the rims rusting, but I wash the jar and tops, and place them on a rack to dry, and so far in several months, not a sign of rust. The juice is in perfect portions in the frig, ready at a moment's notice to be used in just the right amount at a time. I don't even have to use lemon in them, as I once had to do. The juice comes out fresh, just as it is, two days later. The juicer and jars are a perfect team. It was such a pleasure to be able to order them through Amazon, and with one click have them appear at my door, and at a price that was even lower than Wal-Mart's. The gas and time to go get them, not even factored in. The vendor was professional, in letting me know the progress of the jars, and they even followed up to see if i received them in good condition, and was happy with my purchase. I have no complaints at all... just the opposite !!! This is a five star product and sale ! Everything I hoped for. Kudos !

I give these a 5 star rating and I give myself a 3 star. I should have ordered wide mouth but I wasn't thinking. These jars are fine and work well but I wanted to pickle some eggs and wide mouth would have worked better, my bad!

I wanted to find a glass container that I could use as a snap top pitcher. Previously, I had bought a County Line Kitchen one that works awesome, but when I went to buy another, I was disappointed to find all their lids were redesigned with stupid space wasting handles. I managed to find mason jar lids for a reasonable price on here that were wide-mouth, and I took a chance to see if these jars would fit them. Couldn't be happier! They are made of very sturdy glass. The material is good quality. Having read the reviews advising against using the dishwasher on them, I've been hand-washing them. But the wide-mouth makes it super easy for that. I couldn't be happier with these. The lids that came with these are also good too and seal very well if you'd like to use them to store dry things. I use mine with the flip top lids so I can store iced coffee in my refrigerator. I LOVE these jars.

Jars are exactly what I expected. Robust, clear glass. Covers and rings came screwed onto the hard so there was no warpage. But the BEST was the way the jars were packed. Ordering glass online can be dicey at best-often ending with at least some of the order cracked or broken. These were wonderfully packed. I actually had to use a razor knife to cut through what I initially thought was a form of bubble wrap. So if you want excellent jars to arrive intact, order throw this vendor.

Works great for mixing and storing. Would buy again. I would only get the wide mouth version for compatibility with my other jars, but that’s a me problem.

Items were perfect. Packed well, on time. I just didn't realize they were a bit overpriced. Like twice as much as local big box. "Caveat emptor". Totally my fault but a lesson learned.

These 2qt mason jars made the perfect tea. The size was just right. Order a pouring top and you're off. Enjoy

Have always stuck to the same brand of mason jars and now the replacement lids I use on the jars also happen to fit nicely on a couple of sets of sprouting jars I use, so that makes the soaking phase of the sprouting process easier and free from risk of spillage, by using the Ball lids. Have always used Ball jars for soaking wild rice prior to cooking, as well as chickpeas and quinoa, before I discovered the benefits of sprouting them. These jars are perfect for storage, easy to clean and with replaceable lids, they should last a lifetime. These 1000ml jars can soak up to a cup and a half of chickpeas. They are sturdy, with measuring scales in metric and imperial units marked on two sides.
