After I showed to my hematologist and gastroligist they started referring it to other patients in lieu of iron pills and repeated iron infusions, they like the fact it breaks down in the GI tract and not the stomach like pills.I like the concentration, with NO constipation!!! and the strawberry flavor. I MUST take it 40 ml, 4-6 times a week. The part I like the most is able to wake up, take it on an empty stomach. After I take my dogs out, go lay back down and then when it's time to get up an hour later, go on with my day, drink coffee, tea what ever, no muss no fuss, it even has a measuring cap. I LOVE THIS STUFF. I will probably be on it the rest of my life. BUT I and others like me DO NOT have sit in a chair with a needle in my arm for 3 hours getting 100 mil of iron a month, every month PS To document this my doctors at Emory University (ATL Ga) did multiple CBC tests with ferritin to document the results and like I said they now refer it to other patients, they were impressed.since I have been taking it my ferritin level has stayed constant and so has my hemoglobin so I have NOT had to have an iron infusion. Thank you for a wonderful product.

The only iron supplement my body will absorb and keeps my levels normal

I've been through 4-5 other iron supplements, some of which were supposed to be easier on the stomach as I was having GI side effects. A few days in, this is the first one I seem to be able to tolerate without issue. It's definitely more expensive and tastes bad but extremely worth it.

The best it doesn’t make me constipated or feel sick. I absorb it well. Love this product just wish the bottle was a little bigger

If you can stomach to drink this stuff, I’m sure it helps. My daughter is anemic and we tried the liquid iron to help with better absorption. As soon as she swallowed this she ran to the bathroom and almost threw up, it tastes like old blood, I took a sip of it and agree tastes terrible just threw it away we will find something else to try.

When I found out my iron level was 7, very low from heavy menstruation, my doctor recommended I take Vitron C so I did. I couldn't tolerate it. I was constipated and unwell most of the time. I was also fatigued, and hot like I was having hot flashes. So I did some research online and found out that liquid iron is usually absorbed and tolerated better. I ordered Ferrett's because I needed a liquid iron with the highest amount of iron that I could find since my iron stores were so low. I've been taking it now for about 4 months, however I haven't had my iron levels tested again yet. But I know it's working because after losing an incredible amount of hair from having low iron, my hair is no longer shedding. I also had very scary, ongoing heart palpitations as well as fatigue that both subsided within the first month of taking it. I also tolerate it very well. It doesn't constipate me and I don't feel sick after taking it. I gave it four stars only because I haven't taken a blood test yet to confirm that my iron levels have come up substantially, but I'm pretty sure it has.

Meets the minimum requirement of daily iron my doctor is recommending, but good God is it disgusting. It doesn't exactly taste bad, but I think my body thinks i'm swallowing blood, it triggers a disgust reaction. It's got a good iron content if you can get past the bloody taste and texture
