Built to last and fit perfectly, it combines functional protection with artisanal American craftsmanship. ## Description This sheath is designed specifically and exactly for the Husqvarna Carpenters Axe. Please check the photo with measurements to make sure you axe will fit the sheath. It is made out of raw cowhide and later stained with Neatsfoot oil. The sheath is handmade in Spokane, Washington. The construction of the sheath starts with three pieces of leather: the main body of the sheath, the securing strap and the welt. The main body is folded over a welt that is inserted between the two folded halfs which prevents the blade of the inserted axe from cutting the stitch that is placed to hold the sheath together along with the glue. The sheath is then hand stitched and steel rivets are placed at the corners to reinforce the body. The axe head blade, when placed in the sheath, is prevented from touching the rivets because of the welt. The retention strap is then secured with a steel rivet and a steel snap is added for easy on/off action. This sheath is built to last, and quality hand made in the USA (Spokane, Washington). Finish to the edges of the leather is applied for aesthetic appeal. This sheath fits this axe like a glove! Truly a last a lifetime item. The fit is astonishingly perfect. I could not be more pleased. Yes, it's expensive? But hey, I'm very pleased to compensate a craftsman of this level what he's worth. The Husqvarna Carpenter's Axe this goes with is my favorite of the half dozen I own and it deserves a fine sheath like this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Craftsmanship bargain *by T***. on Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2015* My new sheath just arrived quick to ship received in 4 days. I know what you're thinking $36 for a sheath , Ya the one that comes with Husqvarna Carpenters Axe does the job But this looks a lot nicer & fits like a gloves. Just watch the video of it being made https://youtu.be/reL6CQi18xk to really appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into it an $36 buck is a bargain . Only negative thing would be I'm not a big fan of the dye color ### ⭐⭐⭐ Meh *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2019* Needs rivets all the way down the face. I had to re stitch mine. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/16292127-review-outdoor-gear-axe-sheath-for-husqvarna-carpenters-axe](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/16292127-review-outdoor-gear-axe-sheath-for-husqvarna-carpenters-axe) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
