Same as you would watching TV normally. You will need to program your TV to turn on to the HDMI/coax input this is plugged into. Once the TV is turned on you should be able to just watch TV and scan through the channels.

What kind of receiver is this ota fta or what

This is a decryptor for encrypted "pro:idiom" TV distribution systems such as in large hospitals or hotels. If you have a non "pro:idiom" TV with that kind of system, then you'd need this for it to be able to pick up channels.

Is a remote control required to use with this box and if so, is it included?
