Funny and fun for children. Adults can enjoy reading it to them, and you never know what will happen next. It'a an impossible situation but hilarious.

Cute book. A fun read>

I read it to my 6- and 7-year-old granddaughters in a little over an hour. It took a few pages before they were into it, but they ended up thinking it was funny. It sparked their imaginations and provided some interesting food for thought. It wasn't totally riveting, but enough so that they kept wanting another chapter until the end.

My daughter loved this book :) it was engaging and helped her love of reading. One of the first books she has a hard time putting down.

My daughter read this book as a young person and was mad when I gave it to the elevator repair man at my office. I found this copy on line and ordered it for her 22nd birthday.....she was beyond pleased. Simple book with lots of action and uniqueness.

It's a cute story with its share of humor, but there is nothing special about it.

Excellent amusing story, probably better for 7+ years as contains a child kidnapping, which is well done.

休暇を過ごしに、大きなホテルに来たWilson一家。でも、あいにく客室は満室。ところが、Wilson一家は、素敵な部屋を見つけます。小ぢんまりとしたその部屋は、大きな鏡もあるし、カーペットが敷きつめられているし、天井からは音楽がながれているし、そして、なによりも、ホテルの一番下から一番上までの階を、移動できるのです！なんと、ホテルのエレベーターを占拠してしまった一家の、4日間の休暇。なんとも言えないおかし味が漂っています。コメディだと思って読みはじめたのですが、Wilson一家を訪れる人たちと一緒に、いつのまにか癒されていました。
