API MELAFIX Freshwater Fish Bacterial Infection Remedy 8-Ounce Bottle

Easy and safe to use, I bought it to treat my betta fish got injuried with white Pimple on the skin it was small and got bigger and bigger, I tryed the methanol blue and salt but it didnxt work, after using the Melafix for 5 days it started healing and getting better. The price was a way cheaper than the pet store.

This product is easy to use and the instructions are simple to follow. The 4-ounce bottle is a good size and convenient to keep on hand for aquarium care. It arrived well packaged and was easy to add to my freshwater tank. Good product for the price.

This product really worked as described! I am a newbie fish owner, so I have very little experience taking care of my goldfish. However, I noticed that he had some scales fallen out after having him for less than 1 month. I didn't know how he had a few of his scales fallen out since he was in a 30 gallon tank. I have few ornaments in the tank, and there weren't any sharp objects as well. I did notice that he loved to puck on corners and squeeze behind the sponge a lot, so I assumed it may have been from that. So, I went online and started reading up on how to take care of my goldfish and how to help him grow back his scales or prevent more from falling. At this time, I also wasn't sure if he had other diseases as well since this was my first time taking care of a fish. So, I saw and read several reviews on this product where previous customers and experienced fish owners wrote about it helping their fish, as well as, preventing diseases and other ailments. I thought I gave this item a try. It was one of the best products I've bought for my fish. It really helped him healed his scales. I noticed the area where his scales were missing darkened and turned fleshy again. In about 1 week or so, I noticed the area started growing scales already. I am very happy with this item. However, this product is very strong. I have a small, young goldfish in a 30 gallon freshwater tank, with a 50 gallon Aquaclear water filter system, and following the dosages for this product for a 30 gallon tank, I noticed my goldfish acted very agitated to this product. His eyes also started bulging out more. After observing this, I did 25% water change and used half the given dosage. I think this amount was more tolerable to my baby goldfish. I also noticed that my fish scales and fins became silkier after a week of usage. I'm really happy I tried this product out. I would recommend a lower dosage if you have smaller fish. I also recommend to do at least 2 days 25% water change every time you use the product.

My little guppies seem to have problems with their fins being chewed away. I didn’t know what was causing it, but I added some of this to the Aquarium on a regular basis for like a week and they are all doing fine now. Even some of their coats looked a little off so all that cleared up, it smells like Vicks VapoRub but it really does the job. It left the water a little bit cloudy but that’s just the medication working on the fish. Anytime my fish start to look a little off I just added to the tank for a week. I have a little tiny baby guppies that you can barely see, and it has not harmed them in anyway.

This stuff is magick... I have a betta that I've had since the baby and I'm very bonded to. He started staying on the bottom a lot and I noticed he had something on his eye I had different water treatment here so I started that so for two weeks he stayed on the bottom... Everyday I kept thinking he was not going to be alive I didn't know how else to help him it was very stressful. I think the other product maybe kept him stable but did not do what I needed. So I went looking for something different I found this. And OMG fourth day and my betta is swimming again... After 2 2 1/2 weeks on the bottom.. thinking he was dying he is now full of life and swimming after treating the water with this. I was so surprised today to see him off of the bottom that I couldn't believe my eyes literally a miracle.. We still have a ways to go but it looks hopeful...I'm so thankful this saved his life

Holy cow! Finally!! So I tried Gencure and kanaplex and then this. All a month in between meds. I didn’t know what was wrong, bacterial or fungal or parasite since bloated belly’s and irrational swimming/flashing were the main symptoms. Our worst was our Crown Tail female Betta who couldn’t even swim. My Platty guy also got some cotton looking growths on his side fin (after the gencure) that at 1st i thought was ich, but determined were too large in size and fuzzy looking to be it. My tank is a 26gal bow front and I’ve had it for about 8 months. There are 11 fish total. Could have started from not staying on top of cleaning since a monthly 25% water change is all I do, besides adding fresh water every 4days or so from evaporation. Anyways this has finally been the cure! My female pink Betta is no longer unable to swim and my platty has no more white fuzz. Plus it smells good! Today is day 6 so 1 more day of treatment, but already starting yesterday (day 5) the results were clear to see. I will definitely be keeping this stuff on hand. Although not a fan of the scary warning about severe skin irritation from the oil, but Just don’t touch it I guess. Maybe use nytril gloves..... anyway it has helped my fish which is great cuz I’ve never seen a pink Betta girl before and my daughter has become quite attached to our Pinky. Hope she sticks around for a long while ❤️

I ordered this item thinking that it would heal my Betta fishes fin rot. Now, im not saying the product is bad by any means because it definitely prevented it from getting any worse. I would get this if your more trying to stabilize whatever your fish has going on. But it will NOT heal it. If your looking to actually heal a problem with your fish try KanaPlex. Parece que el tratamiento es efectivo, no soy veterinario y si mueren mis peces puede ser por otros agentes o causas. En cualquier caso tener este producto y aplicarlo a mis peces me da una tranquilidad

I am a veteran in this hobby so this review would definitely help you in saving your fish from critical condition (whenever you read ) . I recently set up a 75g cichlid community tank . After a few days I observed two of my Oscars had white spots and two parrots were having swim bladder. I had given up on my fishes after raising temperature,feeding green peas and adding salt to the tank .I had read alot about this product and decided to give it a try . After adding this continuously for two days I saw instant changes in my tank . Though one of my parrot died but I was able to save all of them . Though costly I merged it with api pimafix and saved my fished . Now I have 7 Oscars 4 parrots 2 gt all happily set up . Kudos Amazon and api
