Brown Socket Adapter with Pull-chain Light Control, 2-outlet, 1 Adapter

I chose this a "add on" item. It was not a known name brand but I thought I'd give it a shot. After getting it, I screwed it into the socket, put in the bulb and pulled the chain. Well, it worked, once. The chain broke off on the inside. It was a dainty linked chain which proved to be of inferior making. I purchased a name brand, Leviton, which is a much superior product for about the same price a week later. It has a much better chain(dog tag style) and heavier build which I very satisfied with. In the end, they won. They made money off of me on a product whcih most people will only buy once and it isn't worth the time and effort in returning it. I suppose it was a cheap lesson in quality and branding.

Cheap chain with a plastic end. The plastic melted to the light bulb after maybe 30 minutes. The chain is not the normal type with the little beads that allows you to clip on extensions. It's just a cheap piece of junk. This is not worth anything. I threw the damn thing in the trash.

pretty poor quality - it works, but just barely

Sent it back, did not work, either the electric socket or the light socket, the pull chain worked fine. Do I need to say anymore?
