VIAVITO Travel Yoga Mat

As a yoga teacher I have used more mats than I care to remember. This might not be your first option for use at home, but for travel it's perfect. Non-slip, good thickness, light, easily folds. Been using it a for a few weeks and seems good quality and durable too. For the price, a definite buy

I do 10-15 minutes of yoga everyday, and have done so for close to 2 years. It becomes difficult when travelling, what I've done in the past is just not used in a Yoga Mat, and do what you can with without. Just cannot do as many complex poses. So with this, i'd hope to use it when travelling. The mat packs really small and fits easily in a big bag. The mat is not very thick so you can feel a hard floor underneath. For the price it's good and better than without.

The mat is thinner than the one I use normally, but very lightweight and easy to transport in my backpack, making it ideal for Yoga classes after work, so that I don't have to take a bigger mat with me all day whilst cycling. Even if thinner, it's still spacious and holds the grip perfectly on poses. Great value for this price!

As many other reviewers have noted, this mat is not durable and quickly starts to wear, especially at the end where the feet hit it the most (during chatturanga, warrior 2 etc). It's a shame as the design is excellent, it folds well, is easy to transport and the grip is actually very good, before it starts to wear, which is almost immediately. I bought this mat to use during a Yoga Teacher Training in Bali. In the end I used a school mat, and have started to use this mat since I finished my course and am travelling again. Good job I didn't need it for the course because no way would it have lasted 3 weeks of Yoga Teacher Training. I've used it maybe 5 times and it is well worn where my feet land the most. Perhaps we shouldn't expect much for the price but I would be happy to pay more for extra durability in this specific mat, because everything else about the design is good, but the lack of durability means this won't be used for long before ending up in landfill. Overall, if you're trying to live sustainably/consciously, do not buy this mat - pay more for something that will last.

Great product that folds perfectly into a medium suitcase and doesn’t damage the weight allowance

I chose this having read other positive reviews - so pleased I did. It's nice and light and it fits easily into a weekend bag. It's comfortable to lie on despite being thin and has a good surface so you don't slip.

Good yoga mat, I use the seams for folding to help align my feet in different poses. Folds up instead of rolls. Is a little bit thin and has started showing wear after a few months but I use for HIIT workouts as well as yoga so wears quicker
