I use these for my journaling! Have used them for years! I love the sturdy cover and back and can write the date I started one and finished!! The green lined paper is great too! This is a real Steno Pad but it has many other uses! I buy a dozen at a time!

I like these a lot. Good quality.

I can live with only 60 pp per pad. But the claim of a sturdy back cover is just wrong. It is soft, lightweight, and provides almost no support for note-taking in one's hands. The color and format of the cover is misleading. The pads are made in Brazil. They should be fitted with much sturdier backs for solid user support while writing.

These note books are just about perfect for my needs. I usually use these to make quick notes or drawings. I later transfer info from my notes neatly into a planner or some kind of digital format. Then the paper notes get thrown away or ignored. Steno notebook paper is the perfect size to write while on my feet and without a desk. The notebook is easy to fit into my bag's quick access compartment. The color helps if I need to take notes outdoors in the sun. The low cost allows me to freely turn to a new page without hesitation. Some feel that the covers are too thin, but I don't mind. The notebook as a whole is sturdy enough for me and it's going to find it's way into a trash can once I'm done with it anyway. There used to be a time when I could get almost any steno notebook for a dollar, or less if on sale, from any store that has an office supply section. Not anymore, prices for steno notebooks have gone way up. These seem to be the last bastion for an affordable steno notebook.

Great to have multiple steno notebooks on hand to use for jotting down daily notes, instead of multiple pieces of paper or sticky notes. I do have electronic methods of notekeeping and reminders, but sometimes writing it down helps me remember it better. I date the bottom of each of pg (like a stenographer would); when one side is filled, flip it over and continue on the other. These are especially good for left-handed people, as there is no side binding to get in the way. I always look for the pale green pages instead of white, as that color is easier on the eyes. While I prefer the more sturdy brand with a hard cover and more pages, it is hard to find. If you need the notebook to stand up, it will do that. If you are a stenographer (if anyone does that professionally, manually, any more!), I would hold out for the sturdier brand with more pages. These work fine for what I need.

Good and solid as the old traditional steno pads I’ve used in the past.

If the Steno notebook is your journal of choice, then you may love this one. Ever notice how when you love something, its subtle odor is tremendously pleasing? The simple, straightforward honesty of design is refreshing, and especially as regards the cardboard cover, which is tactilely soft on the outside and smooth/shiny on the inside. The light green of the paper is relaxing to the eye, and its texture is pleasingly smooth yet with just enough "grab" to make writing with pencil feel intimate. The wire binding is sturdy and attractive, and the Gregg ruling gives plenty of space for big ideas and feelings, not cramped or constrained like the college ruling. I've tried so so many Steno books over the years, including several very expensive ones, and this one - I'll call it, affectionately, the '646' - is by far the best. At slightly more than a dollar each when bought by the dozen, it's just ridiculous to consider any other.

These steno pads are great! I always like using a “steno” pad for my “to do” lists and for some reason there seems to be a shortage of them, not sure why? Anyway found these Amazon at such a great price for 12 books but I especially love the colour. Not white but a soft yellow colour, so I can quickly see it in my purse.

Excelente calidad y llego de un día para otro

I was hesitant on these after several reviews about them not being very sturdy, etc. but they work perfectly for me nonetheless. No, the covers are not a thick cardboard and the paper isn't top quality, but for quick notes and things they're great.
