**Q: Is this the american providone brand name or some chinese knockoff called Rugby with providone ingrediant  and there using the picture of Providien?**
A: The product that I received was made in China. It is not the same product shown in the picture, which is made by MAJOR Pharmaceutical brand and made in the United States. 
Apparently a knockoff, and I had not caught the product substitution. Good job on your part!
