The instructions were lacking in how to fix the camera. Had to download two videos from internet. The picture is good and clear.

Excellent video and sound quality. UHD mode is the default setting but this creates lag so it's important to change it to SD mode at each log in for smoother running action with no loss of picture quality. Bluetits are in and out of the birdbox and the camera shows their colours really well. The video playback cut feature is a great tool to reduce the size of the clips which are then automatically stored onto your device.

The camera has good image quality but the overall package is flawed. The instructions are inadequate. Considering that it's installed outside and has an electrical supply I'm amazed that there isn't some advice on wiring safety. The set up instructions are a little confusing because the permissions on my version of Android differ from those shown but I did manage to complete them without undue problem. The camera mounting bracket is poor; the tiny screws need to be tight to hold the camera but it's obvious that overtightening will strip the thread. In typical light conditions the daylight in the box is inadequate for colour vision - the lamp sold as an extra should be included in the kit. The required app works but has adverts, spelling mistakes and rough edges. Once again, minimal instructions on its use and no explanation of anything that isn't definitely required. Improvements required.

This is a great bit of kit, I’ve got the WiFi version, just make sure your WiFi signal is good, Wherever you mount it, mine is down the garden and right on the limit of my WiFi, I can still get a live picture but can’t use some of the features like playback of recorded videos. I have a sd card in so that will record all the action to be viewed later. All I need now is some visitors

Well made with well focused camera, installed in my hedgehog box but so far only mice but very clear picture, highly recommend , good value thank you.

Great pics. Good sound. Sturdy construction. Whilst I had issues with connecting the first camera, the replacement works fine and gives very good quality photos and video but don’t forget to add a SD card to save them, perhaps they could supply an SD card? (although without an SD you can always “share” the pics as soon as you take them). Also make sure you contact your ISP to have your WiFi router signal split to the 2.4G, as it works only with the 2.4G, which is a slower signal but can go through walls, trees etc as it needs to reach the tree. Also note the camera is not rain proof, so make sure it’s in a good weather-tight nesting box as this could invalidate your guarantee! I ended up buying the Green Feathers bird-box, which is very sturdy and looks like it will be long lasting. This is a great camera, so despite the above, I am very pleased with it.

The install guides are pretty poor; the guide included conflicts with both the written guides on the website and the videos! Took me several attempts to gee it working in the first place on my iOS devices, and had similar problems trying to add it to an Android device. Also wanted to live stream to YouTube - again the instructions and software required to connect to a Windows device are poor and confusing!The software needed to view the stream is poor; has problems connecting to the device, frequently crashes and after juts 24 hours of usage now juts sits at 'buffering, please wait' when trying to view the stream.Have logged a support case, will see how this goes but seems likely I'll be sending back for a refund.
