works like Steve said it would
I bought this based on the recommendation from Steve Harris, thanks Steve. It works great, very heavy duty, does everything Steve said it would do. Don't need clamps to hook it onto the hose he recommended, it just slips on and stays on. Good recommendation.I would recommend using clear 3/8 in ID fuel line for the discharge part of the hose. Then you can see the fuel flowing and when it is finished. Also, 3/8 inch is kinda small and transferring 5 gallons of gasoline takes a while. Maybe a 1/2 inch or 5/8 inch line would work better and faster, but I haven't seen any 1/2 inch or 5/8 inch bulbs. 3/8 inch seems to be the common size.

Great item
Easy to install and has worked great for over a year. I was skeptical about the plastic barbs but they're stronger than they look. The bulb will not go stiff once it is primed so I had to forget the old way of priming engines.

Pumped
Purchased after reading several reviews about how dependable this Moeller primer bulb is. At this point I must say that I agree. After making the connections the bulb worked great. Not a leak and the line pumped up quickly. It has been two weeks and the engine starts right up without touching the fuel line.

Worked as expected
The 5/16" Primer bulb worked as expected on a 75HP Suzuki 2-stroke for a 1 week long fishing trip. It never had to be re-primed during that week, cold weather did not effect it from 36F to 50F. The bulb feels a little thinner than my old OEM Suzuki bulb and another Tempo (USA made) brand. I used this Moeller bulb to also siphon gas out of my tank after the trip and I could tell it flows gas much faster than the Suzuki or the Tempo brand.

Worthless trash
Failed in 10 squeezes. I watched it happen while the mechanics at my marina were standing next to me. I was having fuel delivery problems which I assumed to be caused by the bulb. I replaced the fuel lines with clear tube from the bulb to the motor to see what was happening. I started squeezing, you could see the fuel starting through the new, clear line, and then, snap, the $22 Wonder Bulb failed, and you could watch the fuel siphon right back the line. Too bad for me I'm past the return period. These people owe me. Don't buy this worthless trash. The mechanics said they see them fail all the time.

fuel bulb for outboard tank
Moeller brand stuff is the best there is ,look no further. This bulb is 10x better than the attwood bulbs. Be sure to check out their fuel caps with adjustable vents, also.

Works great!
I love this. I use it to transfer fuel from my emergency storage into my truck when I'm rotating old fuel out and new fuel in. No more spilling fuel and holding the 5 gallon gas cans when pouring it into my truck.

Worked great ONE time and I would say it was just ...
Worked great ONE time and I would say it was just a one time issue but BOTH of the ones I purchased did the same thing. Went to the local boat store and pay a little more for one that works all the time. Up to you....
