I ordered the domes from the picture and I didn’t see the description.I was looking for the domes with the hook on the inside and I didn’t see they were for the pole,as you see from the photo I used a hanging basket chain and a belt key ring to attach the feeder to and I used some wire to the pole to keep it in place.

It took a while to establish how to adapt it to my pole but a friend sorted it out. Its the middle of the green attachment that comes out (with a little difficulty for me with arthritic fingers)However it is now in position and seems fine although the birds are a little wary of it. Hopefully they will adapt to it.It would be helpful if the baffler came with some printed instructions.I rang the manufacturer and they did n't seem to know and to be fair they did get back to me but suggested hanging it. I did n.t want to use it as an umbrella; but as a rodent deterrent.

Provided your bird feeder is supported by a single spike, then it easy to fit. It just needs to be slid over the spike and held in place by a clip which is supplied. Squirrels very quickly give up attmpting to access the bird feed!

I could not believe how effective this was at deterring the dreaded Squirrels from the bird feeder, but unfortunately, UV light seems to have made the plastic dome brittle, so mine cracked. I may be able to glue it back together, but this seems par for the course for modern, imported plastic products.

Mission accomplished! This is a big win as this baffle has completely stumped the squirrels, they have finally admitted defeat and stopped pestering the birds at the feeder. I had to adjust the position of the bird feeder as the furry-tailed tree rats were jumping down onto the feeder from a nearby pergola, but since I've done that the birds have been able to eat in peace. Very easy to fit and has stayed in place without any issues.Sammy has got to find his breakfast elsewhere.

Just delighted to find a good baffle that will fit the pole on our feeding station. It is adjustable to other pole sizes and is easy to fit. After battling persistent squirrels during the last year I am so relieved to have sorted the situation - the bird feeding station is now purely for the birds.
