Review: Surprisingly delicious! - I was skeptical about buying one of these bulk bags, because some bulk melt-able chocolate tastes downright gross. If I am wanting to dip things in chocolate, I want it to actually taste like chocolate! I also liked that this was a milk chocolate formula, since that is my husband's favorite. I used about half of the bag specifically for making chocolate covered nut-stuffed dates. I took the recommendation of other websites and put a cookie sheet in the refrigerator for roughly 2 hours. It was EXTREMELY easy to melt this chocolate in the microwave. I did follow the directions, which is very, very important for melting chocolate - I can't stand the taste (or smell) of burnt chocolate. But even following instructions on other bags and using half power on the microwave, you still sometimes get a less than desirable result. Not the case with this bag! Melted quickly (didn't require too much patience) and was extremely easy to work with. I stir in between each time segment - I find this is better. Since it was not fondue, I did leave it a tiny bit thicker coming out of the microwave so that it would not drip off. After dipping a date in the chocolate, I placed it on the chilled cookie sheet to accelerate rapid hardening of the chocolate. It was great! Every single one turned out perfectly. And the taste was absolutely divine! I mentioned my hubby is a milk chocolate lover - well he is also a bit of a milk chocolate snob. He loves the UK Cadbury, hates Hershey's chocolate. But he also LOVED this chocolate, so that's saying a LOT. A little of this chocolate also went a long way. I still have half the bag if we ever want to do a fruit fondue or anything. I am really glad I listened to the other reviewers and went with this one!

It arrived almost in a solid squishy block of chocolate, unusable for what I needed it, desertcart sent a replacement that was not melted. Thank you. I think it wise to order this in the winter , summer is brutal on chocolate. It has a really nice flavor, and no weird after taste. You can also use it as drizzle or in the chocolate fountain

**Q: How many pounds should I buy if I am doing fondue for 12 people?**
A: 4lb will be required. At the end, you'll have some left over but the 4lb will give you the correct chocolate flow.

**Q: Is this enough chocolate to fill a fountain?  Do I need more than one bag?**
A: The chocolate fountain is on the small size and I have used it 3 times with the chocolate.  The fountain and the chocolate are really worth it. My grandkids have a great time with their marshmallows and fruits.  I only bought the one bag of chocolate at the time that I bought both the fountain and the chocolate.

**Q: can you use this in a fondue pot (not a fountain) ?**
A: Absolutely! I've done it many times and it works great! In fact, if I'm using my chocolate fountain for a class party, I usually pre-melt the chocolate in my fondue pot, then pour it into the fountain since there's no stove in the classroom. This chocolate melts to a very smoothe consistency quickly and tastes great. It's been a huge success at several classroom parties and my daughters sleep-over parties.

**Q: Do you add oil to this chocolate?**
A: No oil needed.  You just melt in a bowl in the microwave, and then pour into your chocolate fountain, or dip fruit or snacks and let dry.

OMG this chocolate is phenomenal! This has to be the best chocolate we have tried thus far for our melting/fondue purposes. We have had really great parties using the fondue dipping chocolate. Everyone has really enjoyed the chocolate and always ask what kind of chocolate we are using. Its really really yummy with fruits, pretzels, marshmallows, nuts, etc. It melts great in the microwave too! It hardens up after a few minutes of not being on the heat, so its perfect for making chocolate covered fruits or snacks. I dont have any complaints whatsoever, other than amazon is the only place I Have found it. This is really smooth and the flavor is spot on!
