Fitting End
The 13 to Life series by Shannon Delanny comes to an end with Rivals and Retribution. As its pages slowly dwindled and I found myself unable to put it down, I couldn't help but feel for the so called enemy of the two love birds of this 5 book series. Yet, I couldn't be happier that I had the opportunity to read such great writing. The book series is really about the choices we make in our lives and how those choices effect the one's we love. For those unfamiliar with this series should definitely look into it. Each book averages about 300 pages, so if you're an avid reader or person interested in paranormal werewolf stories, mixed with that of a forbidden love, you'd definitely enjoy the 13 to Life Series...In order of publication:13 to Life (2010)Secrets and Shadows (2011)Bargains and Betrayals (2011)Destiny and Deception (2012)Rivals and Retribution (2012)

The conclustion to one of my favorite series had me scared to death it wasn't going to end well at all. It was the first time I had seen that take on the imprinting element and I love it. As with all of the 13 to Life books, I could not put it down! Don't read them out of order and if you are just starting them then hold on or a great time!

I really liked the book
I really liked the book, but I felt like certain parts were rushed and not explained still by the end. However, still love the series. Glad I read it.

Good mix of Paranormal subjects
Finally a series with a genuine ending, not a lead on to a possible next book. Good read and a series to keep and reread.

yikes
this book was gut wrenching to get through.spoiler alert.after jessie is taken, peitr is forced to revert back to being a werewolf. he promptlyimprints with marelena. i had a feeling that was going to happen. let me tell you, it was nauseating and downright disturbingreading about peitr pinning for marelena when he is supposed to be in love with jessie . its was so difficult that i actuallyhad to sneak a peak at the end just to make sure that he ended up with jessica . otherwise, i could not have continued.iam one of those people who gets emotionally into a book and if your like me then it will be difficult for you to. i do have to say though, that things do work for them but never the less, it was still hard to get through. there is one part where he changes from wolf after a hunt and is butt naked and kissing marelena. gross.i hated marelena!! i really didnt enjoy this last installment and really, the only reason i pushed through it was because i wasfour books into it already . seriously ?. why would you put us through that shannon delaney? i do believe it has the outcome that fans will be expecting and if your like me, pretty much demanding but its still does not make for an enjoyable read. at all.werewolf books tend to be my favorite , even more than vampires . what can i say. i love all the growly, alpha males. and 13 to life series was one of my favorite in the genre . now, its not even on my top 20.

Really amazing series and author
I liked this book because it is very fast paced and romantic. The only thing that I don't like about this book is that it ends. I really like the author and would recommend this series of books to any young adult.

Absolutlely AMAZING!!!!
I loved everything about this book, though the ending nearly gave me a heart attack! This series is great for teens or Young Adults who have a taste for werewolves, a twisted love story, and believe only the fittest survive.
