My son has been saving money to buy a new tablet to play games. His previous one was a NVIDIA shield K1. The Shield lasted a long time, but eventually (after many years) the battery started to drain to fast. So the new Teclast M89 pro is up against a tough competitor.Pros's:It's good to hold, not heavy. Much lighter than the NVIDIA. For a small kid that's a big proPlays all the games my kid likes to play (e.g. Minecraft) without issueVery cheapNear stock android experienceCon'sDedicated cover is hard to find (but do-able)Gets a little warm, but not hotSometimes a game has an occasional hickup, but nothing that ruins the gameplayAndroid 7Overall this tablet is very good value for many. I immediately believe you when you say some very expensive tablet is faster, better or whatever. But this tablet does what it is supposed to do while it only cost a portion of a AAA tablet.So father and son are both happy. The kid said give it 5 stars and I would have if it had Android 9 or up. So one star lost for an older android version. (It did get an update after unboxing though).

Like most things, you get what you pay for. This tablet is perfectly fine for light home/office use, but not much more. I got it for use in the office so I didn't have to take my laptopwith me into meetings, and the battery life is fine for that.The build quality is not great. The tablet suffered a fall from my bedside table onto a carpeted floor. About a foot and a half drop, and the screen popped out of the casing on one side. It popped back in again no problem, but that should give you an idea of the build quality.One thing I've been very pleased with, though, is the screen. I've been reading some ebooks on it, and the text is crystal clear, and bright enough to read in direct sunlight, which is a massive bonus for me.

With the quarantine in full swing, I knew it would be time to dust off that old phone I had for the kids. It has however died and wouldn't turn on and I needed something with a larger screen with one main big caveat - the price and USB C.This device has it all - excellent value, USB C, decent display and battery life.The only downside is the single speaker - sound is a bit tinny, but for YouTube and cartoons is more than adequate.

I have been delivered two of these m89Pros now and both had faults, the sd card slot would not open on both with out a bit of force, which is not good when it is such a small unit. One had a terrible display it was grainy and definitely not 2048. they both had the same input issue the android keyboard would keep stopping and give an error message, and it says these are google certificated, both the ones i was sent were not.This is clearly a make of tablet that is mass produced without any kind of quality control.

great looking and performing tablet, however the sound is horrible, it is crunchy, glitchy, and causes severe slowdown when using audio apps, i think this maybe a serious driver issue, and despite buying 2 of these tablets, I have had no answer from Teclast as to what might be causing the problems.During gaming, the audio will gitch every so often, and music and production apps are almost unusable.Teclast need to step up thier game when it comes to OTA, because this tablets sound is just plain terrible.

This is a seriously good little piece of kit, for the price. The hardest part was changing the language.I've waited a few weeks to write the review. Battery life is excellent. Touch screen is fine. Sound is fine and runs everything quickly.

Great well made tablet with a nice screen. It performs above expectations for the price. Build quality is very good. Would recommend it👍
