Tactical Dog Collar with Heavy Duty Metal Buckle and Control Handle for Medium Large Dogs Training(Pink, Large)

FYI: Bubba was my foster fail rescue pup. His ears was damaged by a previous bad owner now serving jail time. He is loved very much by me and we live in SC with the hot sun. I had his scabbed ears healed and treating with a product I have seen work miracles to grow hair back on animals when normally vet says it isn’t possible. MTG oil. In the meantime I have to be careful while he’s outside because the heat he gets a sore just by going to potty and we have to start over. Silver honey heals then back on MTG for hair growth and it has already worked.Bubba has about a 19 inch neck and my last one was a Large size in grey color but I had to adjust it to the furthest part to make it fit. This time I ordered from another company and seen the size chart and went for the XL so he’d have room to grow because he lost ten pounds after his (fur sister passed) and slowly gaining his weight back. He’s a 4 y/o blue nose Pittie and about 68# but normally runs about 75. I’m thinking in this brand the large might have been better since the large adjustable still allows for two extra inches. Although this fits and looks loose on the smallest size; I can’t slip it over his head. It was nice because it has the Velcro on it so I can attach his tags while we are ‘out training’ or ‘service dog’ or ‘do not pet!’ It has the handle as well and you can secure that down with the Velcro wrap if you don’t want it in use. There is one strong D ring for his ID collar, microchip and rabies tag all on one. Plenty of room to attach the leash as well but not so big that it’s a nuisance to Bubba. The material appears breathable; he didn’t seem to have a lot of sweat accumulating around the neck and we do live in the south east where the temperature is staring to rise.

Got this cute pink collar for my Great Dane girl! I was looking for a tactical style collar because I really appreciate the handles that these collars have, just in case I need to hold my dogs really close to me. It was a plus that it came in pink for my girly girl! Love the velcro on the sides too; I got a "high maintenance" patch for her as a joke, but everyone laughs at it! The main downside with this is the buckle. It's supposed to be a quick-release design, but it gets stuck quite often. Luckily, we haven't gotten in a situation where I need to remove her collar super fast, but it can get annoying.

My 8 month old puppy has been through 5 collars before we ordered this one. I wish I would have found this one sooner. It would have saved me money and lots of stress. Super durable and strong. It's a little big for my puppy but he seems to not mind and still has some growing to do. Definitely recommend if you have a larger breed dog like mine a pit bull. Or any large breed for that matter.

Disappointed on the width but im making that my own disappointment, due to the fact had a 2.75in tac collar to this one a big difference and my dog still responds to it well.

This product was awesome. We have an Aussie pup who is about 35 lbs right now. He’s a fairly little guy. We ordered the M. When it arrived, we were impressed by the quality of the material. It was so thick and sturdy. Honestly, it was so thick that we thought it was going to be too big for him, but we let him try it on anyways. We’re glad we did because he loved it. It was really funny, you could see his confidence boost when we put it on. He was like, “oh yeah I look damn good and feel tough.” We still thought it was a little thick for his neck and we took it off. He immediately acted sad. Lol! You might think I’m crazy, but Aussies are very expressive. So we let him wear it.Turns out that it was so nice... we think someone stole it! We live on a very busy corner and sometimes let our pup out to play in our fenced in yard. One day we did this and he came back with no collar. We don’t have a very large yard and we have turned the whole house upside down looking for it! We received our order on Dec 3, and by Dec 9 it was gone! I’ll update this post if we find it. I guess this could tell you two things:1. if we end up finding it, it’s probably not super reflective since we started our search at night time (we were looking with flashlights)2. if someone did steal it, it looks good enough to steal a dog’s collar!!Most likely it came off somewhere and it’s going to turn up, but right now I feel crazy!! Either way, it’s a good looking collar that we and our dog definitely felt good about. If it doesn’t turn up soon, we are definitely going to order another one. It was so study and well built that we’re sure will be his last... if we can keep it on him! I hope this review helps. And if you do end up getting it, hopefully no one steals it since it looks so good. 😂
