Worked perfectly
Bought this because I needed a smaller torque wrench. Worked perfectly doing an oil change on my 2019 Tacoma. Easy to set and use. Another great Gearwrench tool.

Accurate
I bought this mainly for when I have to do tire rotations. Had the tool tested by the snap-on dealer on his truck. It’s within spec. Calibration tracks with what the paper that was included with the tool says.

Peace of mind
There are cheaper torque wrenches, and more expensive. I got this for peace of mind to trust the tool. It does have good positive click, and accurate per my hillbilly test:A 3/8 bolt has typical torque value of 15 ft lb (180 inch / lb) not lubricated.I used a trusted CDI torque wrench (made by Snap On) at lower end of its 100-750 inch lb range and torqued to 150 inch lb.I used the Gear Wrench to torque at same and the fastener did not move. I set this Gear Wrench to 160 inch lb and it moved the nut slightly then clicked. I went back and forth, each wrench confirming the other as I worked up to 200 inch lb.Although I had a good 3/8 drive 100-750 inch lb torque wrench, I wanted this 30-250 inch lb wrench for smaller fasteners and so each wrench could operate closer to the sweet spot mid-range rather than at lowest setting on my other torque wrenches. I can recommend this 30-250 inch lb one, the CDI 100-750 inch lb, and for the bigger stuff like lug nuts I trust the more affordable TEKTON 1/2 Inch Drive Click Torque Wrench (10-150 ft.-lb.) because I am not so concerned about stripping out a sensitive fastener in an aluminum motorcycle engine. It is more for lug nuts and a motorcycle axle fastener.

Large Head, 2 lb-ft increments, but affordable and from a reputable brand
I am a Proto torque wrench loyalist due to their proven reliability and ability to hold calibration year over year. I've seen them in industry and know they are excellent, but they are pretty expensive and I rarely have a need to go over 150 ft lbs with the work I do. I was going to kick off a job and I knew I needed to torque something to about 165 ft lbs, but couldn't justify the high cost of a Proto for a single use so I went for this Gearwrench for less than a benjamin and got the job done.Overall, I'm happy so far. It feels well made and the ratchet mechanism is nice but the head is pretty thick. If I were a professional, I might opt for a higher end brand offering a slimmer head or maybe some flex but this was more than sufficient for my need. The wrench came with a calibration certificate which I will assume is accurate. Gearwrench is reputable and stands behind their products, unlike a lot of random brands available here.

This is why I just can't get into you, Snap-On.
So, I bought this as a replacement for a Torque wrench that I bought four years ago. The important thing to understand about Tools is that hundreds of people sell them, and only dozens of people MAKE them. My original Torque Wrench was a Husky branded one of the shelf, Yes This Is The Home Depot Torque Wrench. And ya know what, it ran the race just fine with all the fancy digital light up handle vibrating Snap-On Wrenches that the other techs in the shop used just fine for 4 years until someone borrowed mine and destroyed it using it improperly. And I just have to say, honestly, having the Actual Gear Wrench branded Gear Wrench Torque Wrench, it feels a whole lot nicer in the hands. The handle is all metal, not plastic and rubber. AS LONG AS YOU MAINTAIN IT PROPERLY, This tool will serve you just fine for all your needs, for a fraction of the price that something off the tool truck will run you.I do miss my Husky branded one quite a lot though. I used it along side tech who had thousand dollar Torque Wrenches and it kept up, and passed ever calibration testing machine it ever got put on, For Four Years! It was kinder special to me because of that.

Very Nice
I got this yesterday and used it today to loosen lugs and torque wheels 🛞 for a brake job. The finish is excellent and the blow mold case is great. It broke the lug nuts loose like butter, easier than my breaker bar and was easy to tighten as well. It is probably 6” or more inches longer than my breaker bar though. I have had my eye on this for a while and am really glad I finally pulled the trigger, Gear Wrench tools are the best quality for money in my opinion and I expect this will last me as long as am able to turn wrenches
