Really good, easy-to-use pressure cooker
I use my pressure cooker a lot - probably two or three times a week. Pressure cookers save money, because they don't take as long to cook things, but produce (in my opinion) much better results than, say, a microwave. I use mine for things like making my own bone broth Very easy and quite quick), cooking brown rice, cooking beans and making delicious stews, casseroles and curries. I've had an earlier version of these Tower One Touch cookers for several years and it's been reliably brilliant. But unfortunately I managed to drop the pressure cooker lid from some height onto a road, and the plastic twist-lock was smashed and the lid dented so it no longer worked, so I needed to buy a new one. I cosidered other styles and brands for a while, then realised that cooking with this one is so reliable and automatic that I wanted to stick with it.It's very well made, easy to use and clean, and easy to obtain replacement seals when needed. The twist lock is designed so that the pan can't be opened until the pressure has reduced, so one of the 'dangers' that people sometimes worry about with pressure cookers is avoided. The instruction manual with the pan is very clear and includes step-by-step 'how tos' on both use and cleaning; sample recipes and a troubleshooting guide. I think even someone who has never used a pressure cooker could learn how quickly with the guidance given. If you want to save power, save time and save money while still cooking the sort of dishes that usually take several hours, I'd thoroughly recommend this pan.

Its super!!
We have had several pressure cookers over the years and this is by far the best. Stainless steel too. Fitting the lid with pressure cookers in the past has always been a fiddle to do. Not with this one you can do it with one hand. Comes with a basket to put say vegetables in, last cooker we had didnt. Small detachable timer in the lid. Easy to release the pressure when cooking has finished, just turn the pressure release valve and it slowly lets the steam out. Only thing is its heavy. But hopefully that shows quality! well pleased

Works well.
After a while of getting to understand it and reading the instructions it is now being used well.Outside still shines, inside shows its used but generally it is easy to use and good size. Half leg of lamb, beef and pork all cook well in the pressure cooker.

Lovely Pressure Cooker - Instructions could be better
The Tower T920003 Pressure Cooker is a lovely piece of kit with it's highly polished stainless steel body it seems almost a shame to use it. Admittedly my first attempt at cooking something wasn't successful but that's my fault for following one of the included recipes 'Beef Stew'. The meat on this occasion was hard and chewy but after speaking with Tower to find out where I went wrong their customer service recommended using a slow cooker instead. That aside my next culinary attempt was way more successful, I cooked a Gammon Hock and after filling the water to the minimum fill level I cooked the hock for 50 minutes and it was beautifully soft and falling away from the bone.As yet I haven't tried cooked anything else other than hocks but I like experimenting nonetheless.Cleaning is reasonably easy. The pot itself can be washed in the traditional way using hot soapy water however I deducted 1 star for not being able to submerge the locking lid in water to clean it. Instead you have to wipe it clean with soapy water and a sponge. It's not a big deal but I suppose but it would have been nice to clean it properly.Included with the pressure cooker is a very flimsy instruction booklet which also includes about four recipes however as already discussed above, Tower don't recommend doing the beef stew in a pressure cooker and favour a slow cooker instead which seems to defeat the object. For the price I would have liked a more detailed recipe book with recipes that do actually work in a pressure cooker. I feel Tower have let me down as a customer by failing to provide all but the most basic instructions, the first week of owning my pressure cooker I had to look at other manufacturers instruction books online in order to find how long to actually cook things. There are lots of pressure cooker recipes online if you care to look though I can imagine some people will not have that luxury. All in all a good pressure cooker but the attention to detail and cooking times in the instruction booklet lets it down.

I ordered this for my mum and She is very happy with it. It does what it describes, putting the timer on is simple and that's what my elderly mum wanted so very pleased.

My pressure cooker saves time and enhances meals, making cooking enjoyable. Thank you!
The media could not be loaded. I love my pressure cookers for their safety features like pressure release valves and locking lids, which prevent the lid from opening until pressure is released. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions to avoid accidents
