Update to original review: These mitts, and the company behind them, are nothing short of amazing. Sadly, my condition has worsened in the last 8 months, and I now rely on these mitts at least 4 x a week. Recently we traveled out of state to a hospital, and stayed in a motel with an old, sub-par microwave. I had a terrible attack while there, and my son tried frantically to heat the mitts, which resulted in the old hotel microwave blowing up one of the mitts. I rely heavily on these , and was going to order another pair right away, but decided to contact the company first by email. I got a reply right away from James Anderson, saying that they are sending replacement bean bags right away. So kind and amazing to find a company that stands behind their product after 11 months, even with damage caused by machine/ human error. Please don't hesitate to order from this company. The mitts are big, soft, heat perfectly and provide heavenly pain relief. A huge thank you to PhysioNatural! Due to an autoimmune disorder I often experience severe pain in my hands. These mitts, are the best invention since sliced bread! I pop them in the microwave for about 3 minutes (i place them standing on their sides, facing each other, for more even heating) then grab them , sit in a comfy chair, pop them on and bask in soothing moist heat. They're large, they're soft, the scent is light, not overpowering, and the beads stay warm for a long time, and I like the weight- very soothing. They stay warm long enough to delegate dish washing or other chores to someone else. Simply hold up your mittened hands and say sonething like, "I'd wash the dishes, but my hands hurt, so would you do it? " Almost forgot to mention that there was a tiny gift card inside the box with a code & an email address to redeem it. I did so, and they sent me a lovely email saying my gift was forthcoming. I received a surprise soft, blue, heatable eye mask! Can't say enough good things about this company and their products.

These therapy mitts are a treat for arthritic fingers. While I wish they could take all the pain away, only a miracle could make that happen. Until that day comes, I’ll be using these mitts to help relieve the stiffness and clicking that happens in my finger joint. It seems to significantly help ease arthritis symptoms for me. The aroma is nice too. They are a bit heavy and I can’t do much when the mitts are on. Not a bad thing...it’s a good excuse to stop, relax and take a breather from the hectic day to day schedule. I find the heaviness adds to the comfort of wearing the mitts. In the picture, I took out the parts that hold the heating elements to show that each mitt has two heating packs and the outside is washable. I also had a “winning code” included in the packaging. So I emailed the code to the email address and the co-founder replied very quickly with a lovely response asking for information so he could mail me the gift. When I didn’t reply back a few days later, he politely and kindly emailed me again. The day he emailed a second time, I was warming up the mitts in a microwave and one of the mitts got burnt and stuck to the paper plate. The mitt was ruined because a hole developed (I’m not sure what happened so be sure to follow their microwaving directions). I emailed the owner along with a picture of the burnt mitt, asking how I can get a replacement. He again quickly replied with a lovely email, informing me that he was sending a new pair at no cost and also included the free gift from the winning code. He furthermore told me I didn’t have to return the old mitts. The replacement mitts came today along with the gift. No spoilers here but the gift is really nice and of good quality. I’m so impressed by their outstanding customer service!! I highly recommend these mitts and the company that sells them! Awesome product. I injured my hand and the doctor suggested warm water soaking at least 3x per day for a week. I checked the Amazon website and this product described the moisture heat after placing g mitts in microwave. It worked. The bruising gradually disappeared. And the mitts are terrific if you suffer from minor stiffness etc. Definitely follow directions for heating.

I recommend these to anyone that suffers from hand pain. Well made and soft. Easy to use. Provide a warm, moist heat with some weight. Heating pads in the gloves are an excellent size, heated area covers my entire hand providing relief from finger tips to my wrist. When on there is some weight to the gloves and they shape to your hand. My experience has been they retain heat for 15 minutes. I had these in my cart for years and I’m so glad I finally got them! I have rheumatoid arthritis and when my hands and wrists get sore these are my go-to. Heating pockets come out for easy heating, super convenient. No complaints on these, they are wonderful!

I love doing yard work and working in my vegetable garden, but some days when I overdo it, I am bothered by pain resulting from the arthritis in both of my hands. I found these microwaveable hand therapy mittens on Amazon. I love them! The fabric covers are soft and plush like a fuzzy blanket and the flax seeds have a lavender scent when heated. The mittens contain removeable heat packs that look like bean bags, so you can remove them to wash the covers when needed. Very pleased with this purchase.

It is super hard to get these evenly heated, on the rare occasion that you do , they work fine, and provide relief. But be ready for super hot spots, completely cold spots, funky smells, crackling sounds, burns through the fabric, the pouches full of beads to slip around and fall out, and both mitts being two different temperatures no matter what you try. I have kept them on a plate as instructed, tried them side by side, on top of each other, with the turntable and without, and NOTHING makes these heat evenly. Also the time suggested at the wattage listed is a good way to light them on fire. Not happy at all with them, and to add another con to the list they weigh so much, it's painful to carry them around and deal with them when your hands are really hurting. I'd've them zero stars except for on the very rare occasion I can manage to get one of them heated up correctly, it does help.

During the last week of November I stabbed myself in the hand with a wooden skewer while making a foosball table out of a cardboard box. (The Elf on the Shelf was feeling creative) Talk about painful! Anyway, the pain in my hand never went away so I finally went to the doctor. Long story short, I was given a cortisone shot in said hand (OUCH!!) and told to apply heat twice a day for the next 6 weeks. They suggested I do this with a hot wax machine. While that sounded lovely at first, I ultimately decided the mess and storage weren't something I really wanted to deal with. Thankfully, my husband found this product and it's been a godsend! Honestly, the only time my hand doesn't hurt is when I'm "wearing" the warm mitten. I use one multiple times a day. (My son seems to have taken the other one for himself. It somehow makes homeschooling easier 😅). A quick 1:40 in the microwave and I'm good to go. The heat lasts about 20 minutes and feels amazing. I even used both the other night after coming home from said son's football practice in 33° weather. Heaven!
