First, let me say that I am in the camp who are not thrilled with the taste. It isn't nasty, just earthy and almost like drinking pureed okra. The powder is unbelievably fine and once wet becomes like grout. My routine is to put a tablespoon with water in my small Magic Bullet® bender and make a 'smoothie'. Goes down quick and then the magic begins! The pandemic caused me to gain about 20# and so back onto Keto I went as that diet just works for me. The problem with Keto is constipation--well, that problem is no more. What is great about Nopal is that it just enforces regularity; i.e., no sudden laxative effect or gas. This stuff is vastly superior to Metamucil® (psyllium) because it is not only a superior fiber source, but it has superfood qualities (ancient tribes weren't stupid).

This Nopal powder is a great thickener for soups, stews, smoothies, gumbo &c. . . Nice mild flavor; goes with everything; if you don’t like the taste and texture of okra you might not like it. Since I don’t have access to fresh nopal, I find this to be a great substitute and you don’t have to deal with the prickles.. Also, it is great for digestion and blood sugar control.

I've been using this product for about 1 week now and I have definitely felt the difference in my stomach. I don't feel as bloated and because of the high fiber I'm not tempted to overeat or snack. When you drink it just with water, it does have an earthy taste but it's not bad.

Tenía mis dudas, pero este polvo de Nopal Orgánico Maxx Herb es increíble. Se ha vuelto un básico en mi día a día. ​Para ser honesto, lo compré principalmente por la fibra, y ¡funciona de maravilla! Me ha ayudado muchísimo con la digestión; voy al baño regularmente y sin problemas. Sientes que te limpia por dentro. ​Además, he notado una gran ayuda con el tema del azúcar. No soy experto, pero como auxiliar, me ayuda a sentirme más estable. Es un plus enorme. ​Me encanta que es puro, orgánico y sin cosas raras (ni gluten, ni OGM). Es solo nopal de calidad. Si buscas apoyar tu intestino y darle un empujón a tu salud, ¡pruébalo!

I'm sure this product is good for you, but it literally tastes like dirt. I recommend you add it to a smoothie or juice, as it doesn't taste good in water and it needs to be mixed in a shaker cup or blender as it doesn't mix well with spoon or fork. I am going to use up the bag and will update at a later time.

I’ve only used it once it does clean you out. I put something else in it to down it.

Good for smoothies and shakes
