I love the shampoo - it smells amazing and I can feel the difference from other shampoo's with this my hair actually feels clean -many times I will wash my hair 2 or even 3 times in the same shower just because i like the smell so much - I probably will never use anything else - i would be legit upset if it became unavailable - I would actually announce it to every guy I saw that they should use it but that would be weird AF 😂😂😂 after writing that i feel the need to say my wife likes the way my hair smells - also my 9 yr old son often ask if he can use my shampoo - buy it you won't regret it - its not like old spice or dove just for men - this is a legit "gentleman's" shampoo that smells great It's also worth reading where the name for the brand came from cool little story

I switched to this shampoo after another brand I'd been using for a long time changed their formula. Overall I'm very happy with it. It lathers and cleans well and the bottle lasts a long time despite the smallish size. My only disappointment is that the smell could be a little stronger.

This is an excellent shampoo, as are the other products from Pedro & Pete, Great smelling, and a super=clean feeling. Masculine scent.

This is just an ok shampoo for a lot of money. Would have expected twice the amount of shampoo for what I paid. The scent is nice, but not very strong. Will pass on this the next time and find a shampoo that has a bolder scent. 8 ounces for $20 and a light scent was not worth it.

I really like this shampoo. Lathers up nice and smells amazing. Reminds me of a freshly cut tobacco or sandalwood. Love it!

My husband loves trying shampoos, especially ones that aren't mainstream. He has tried several Pete & Pedro products in the past and has always been pleased with them. The 8 oz bottle size is much smaller than what he is used to but the perfect size for adding to a gift basket or bag. It has a more upscale appearance than your typical bottle of shampoo. The bourbon scent is unique and smells fantastic! It is slightly sweet, slightly woodsy, and a little smoky. I did think that it resembled bourbon, which is impressive considering that it's a shampoo fragrance! The scent is really nice in the shower but doesn't linger long on your hair after drying off. If you have dry hair, your hair will definitely appreciate this shampoo. It is rich, hydrating, and nourishing. I have combination hair (oily roots, dry ends) and it was a bit too heavy for my hair type. (worked super well on the ends, though!) My husband has normal hair for the most part and it left his hair soft, silky, and manageable. My husband loved how much rich, plentiful lather was produced!!! You really don't need to use a lot to work up enough lather to cover all of your hair! The shampoo rinses fairly easily. It does leave your hair feeling a bit coated but not greasy. Follow up with a lightweight conditioner and you are good to go!

Genuine quality shampoo, only 4 stars because it’s a bit pricey. My wife worked in the beauty industry and has researched quality products and ingredients (also ingredients to avoid!). She pointed me to try this and I look forward to using it every time I take a shower. I’m here for more so the price is worth it!

This shampoo is TOP NOTCH in every way! The shampoo has a distinct scent of Real Bourbon, YES, Bourbon. The is the kind of shampoo you’d expect to only find in an expensive salon and def not online! This shampoo lathers up really easy and provides great hair/scalp coverage with a small amount. Instead of pouring out a large amount of this shampoo into your hand, only pour out a quarter size amount! If you’ll make sure to Totally Wet your hair, it doesn’t take much of this shampoo to provide a Rich Lather. I think the price point of this shampoo is fair considering it’s made with several special ingredients that are typically reserved for high end salons! You can’t treat this shampoo in the same manner you do with inexpensive shampoo. Inexpensive shampoo’s will typically only lather up if you pour a huge amount into your hand! More expensive shampoos like this one work totally different. The ingredients in this shampoo make so you only have to use a small amount of it to achieve a Rich Lather! These ingredients include things like ivy extract and burdock root! They’ve used rice protein which helps strengthen weak hair follicles. My scalp feels great after shampooing with this product. What’s even better than the way my scalp feels is how my hair looks once dry. It def looks thicker/fuller and healthier! Bottom Line: I recommend this product and hope this review helps.
