The cube just came in today, so I will be updating this review as time passes on how it holds up and if the cube rotates better as I use it and break it in.For starters, the cube does rotate a lot smoother and quieter than the brand name rubiks cube (standard). The colors are the standard colors essentially, but are darker. (Just imagine using water colors, painting with black, swirling the brush in water and then going to yellow. That darker, dirty yellow is the color you have. The same with the rest of the colors.) While the color isn't a problem for me, as long as I can tell the difference between like colors such as orange/red, I was disappointed that some of them came chipped and one of my squares has two colors on it. Most of the squares are off center, one of them even overlapping and going over the side and into the cube. They are not tiles, but rather look like something was laminated onto the actual cube itself.As for features, in the short time I have had it I haven't had a corner rotate. The corner cutting didn't impress me too much and takes quite a bit of force from half a cube to quarter cube. After that it will not corner cut at all for me. Before half a cube it works pretty well. I have had it lock up on me two or three times already.The material on it feels kind of cheap and like it would break if it fell. They might have chosen a cheaper material for lighter weight, but holding it in my hand it just didn't impress me too much either.Another note is that they did switch the red and the orange faces. Typically when holding blue towards you and white on top, it should be orange to the right, followed by green and then red. Instead the order is blue, red, green, orange. While this doesn't impact the use of it at all, it is another note that I am going to include just in case someone reading this would be bothered by that.Overall, its an alright cube for a beginner in speed cubing. People who are serious about it or are beyond the starting stages of learning finger tricks might be better off with a different cube. Again, I will update this review as I break the cube in and to report back on its durability after I have solved and played with it several times. (Will be comparing to the standard rubiks brand cube, which lasted about two weeks under my near-constant use.)

I have received my cube in the mail a few days ago and I'm loving it!!!! It's my very first cube and I have solved it now 28 times. The instruction guide is so easy to understand and makes solving so much easier. I love the carry bag it helps protect my cube and let's me take it anywhere. My friends are all having fun in scrambling it and seeing if I can solve it I have now tried to solve it without the instruction guide only once and actually completed it. So far it has been a blast. Thank you so much for my cube!!!!!! I have also have had a great customer experience with the shipping. I received a few emails asking if I had received my shipment yet, and I thought it was very courteous of them in asking me if I received it and how I like it. It is amazing! I just love the customer support that I have gotten and the shipping was really fast. I got it 2 days before the shipment date. It's really amazing! I'm in love with my new cube I take it everywhere!

This cube should not be advertised as a "speedcube" as it is clunky to turn, cannot cut corners, and catches on itself often. The colors are nowhere near as vibrant as in the pictures, and the cube itself is very tightly tensioned (which I know is adjustable). My cube also came with three of the screws screwed into the core crookedly and it stripped the plastic a bit on one of them when I tried to adjust this. The mini keychain exploded into little parts when I tried turning it for the first time and it took me 5 tries to get it back together and then it exploded again. For a fun cube to give a beginner, this is marginally better than the plain old rubik's cube, but that's pretty much all the benefit it has.

As an adult and child of the 80's i was used to the original Rubix cube, which is stiff and tight. The play-ability of this cube is far and away better than the original. Not only are the movements quick and smooth, but you have the ability to adjust the tension with the screw hidden under the center block cover. I have improved my speed greatly with this cube and i do recommend it to anyone who asks me when they see me playing with mine. Their customer service is above and beyond what i would expect.They actually care about their customers! I received the product and it had a defect in the sticker-less design. I had a new one within 2 days of contacting them. Their email response was immediate and the replacement arrived in perfect condition. Thanks for a positive Amazon shopping experience!

Colors of the cube are not as advertised. Instead of being bright, high-contrast colors (as noted by the seller and some other reviews), the cube I received has very dull colors. The white is very gray. The biggest problem is the orange and red are barely distinguishable anytime lighting is not bright. The grayish/white and yellow colors are also difficult to distinguish, but not as bad as the orange/red. It makes it nearly impossible to use in low-light situations.The mechanics are pretty smooth. The keychain cube has poor mechanics, but it's actually useable when you're out and about and need a distraction. It's something like you might find in a fast food kid's meal.Ended up searching for a "neon speed cube" and got a different brand for the same price that has equally good mechanics and has much brighter and higher contrast colors. A great cube. Much easier to use than a traditional rubix, but not as quick as some of the speed cubes out there. My only complaint is that the orange and yellow sides are very close in color. Can't use in lower light conditions (not a real issue, just turn on a light)My biggest issue is with the Keychain cube. This is crap. Poorly built, catches constantly, and the chain broke off within 2 days of owning. Do not buy this thinking you are getting 2 for 1, because the Keychain cube is worthless.
