I have straight hair and it is vital to wax every day, however this gel is an excellent choice versus waxing. A few years ago I had a brand that had an advantage and that is that after applying it, the gel itself generated foam that favored the quick cleaning of the hands, it was my favorite because it saved me vital minutes at the beginning of the day, because with wax or traditional gels you must invest time and water ($) to remove it from your fingers and nails. This gel is not exactly like the one I used to use and that was discontinued, but on a scale of 1 to 10 of gels that dissolve well in the hand wash this one would rate a good 7. To add although I am not very interested, this one contains Argan oil and in theory helps to protect the hair, finally I emphasize that the fixation of this particular version lasts effectively 24 hours, very good! and does not leave residues because there are gels that in the afternoon if you touch the hair leaves flakes and people will think it is dandruff. Finally, if you are a woman, it has a slight grape scent, as I am a man, ideally it would not smell like anything at all, but it is tolerable, that is, it is a slight scent, if not for that I would not have chosen it. In conclusion a gel that does its job well, it can be quickly washed out of your hands after application and protects your hair.

I really like this product. It smells good and has really good hold on edges. I also like that it does not flake up. It is a VERY small jar; however, a good product.

I bought this Gel and took it with me on vacation. My first time buying and using the product. It was a nice small size jar to pack in my carryon luggage. It has a very pleasant fruity smell and it comes out almost clear. I have combination hair of fine and coarse curls, (with a mixed heritage, my genes couldn’t figure out which way to go). Lol! My fine baby hair laid down for a few hours, but my coil’s didn’t respond well to it at all! It never flattened down, and that was after a fair amount of it. Also, the worst part is that area also turned white and flaked. I really wanted to give it a 1 star for that, but it never guaranteed that it would not do that!

The Gel is wayyy tooo expensive for the price. I expected something bigger because it is written family size. This is not even a regular size jar. Giving it 3 stars because I returned the product right away and never touched or felt it.

People who moaning about how small it is you should read before you buy 0.5oz it’s good enough to try it out and it works amazing really holds the hair down all day good for 4c hair wrap a scarf in your head then it will lay for the whole day

I first got this product about 4 years ago at a beauty show. The product was amazing. Did exactly what i needed and wanted it to. When it started to finish, i looked everywhere at the time for it but never found it. I had to settle for low grade brands that did absolutely nothing for my edges. I finally had enough of wasting my time and money on those poor substitutes and decided to check again for this product. Lo and behold it was on amazon! I purchased without a second thought. It arrived 1 day later, and I've used it and it still does the same amazing job of slicking my edges. I hope this product never stops being made because it really is the best out there and is cruelty free.

My favorite brand of edge control. My hair is always done right with this. Quality is very good, not badly priced but when you’re in a pinch this is okay. It works effectively and the hold is looonnngggg, and the grape berry smell is my favorite. Not too strong.

Absolutely perfect! Especially as a woman with 4c hair, I was able to lay it down and keep it down. smells just like a jolly rancher! Would buy again.
